Enlighten me! RE: Carriers: Allow Bot/Bat/Ammo Sharing for Snubs Docked Inside? - Connor - 07-31-2015 Being able to buy regens from the ship whilst docked would be good. Dock the ship, buy 70 regens from the ship, -70 regens fromt he carrier. Might be useful. Just leave a cool down between docking. RE: Carriers: Allow Bot/Bat/Ammo Sharing for Snubs Docked Inside? - Tarator - 07-31-2015 Good idea, I've been waiting for its implementation for so long, and I keep waiting. Give carriers a reason to exist in pvp not just inRP. Precisely, let snubs buy the regens that the carrier normally uses, so it'll be quite balanced. RE: Carriers: Allow Bot/Bat/Ammo Sharing for Snubs Docked Inside? - Mímir - 07-31-2015 Would docking with a carrier count as PVP-death? If yes I have no problem with this, otherwise it just promotes more bad behaviour. Generally I think it makes sense for any small craft docking with/inside a larger ship, they should be able to get botts/batts from the large ships supply. Not sure why they wouldn't. As to the pvp death,,,well a carrier/transport only has so many to go around, unlike an npc base. I think it would add to the incentive to even get a large ship and a bunch of DM's , knowing you might be able to effect the outcome of a battle, in favor of 'your side' by being able to supply your forces like that, outside the traditional PVP death rule. After a few dockings...they'll run out, and risk losing their own supply as well, putting themselves in greater danger. So really it would be left up to the players on how they'd like to divy it up. I think this would be a cool thing! EDIT: It certainly makes more sense to pass botts/batts this way rather than throw them around across space in mid battle like we used to have RE: Carriers: Allow Bot/Bat/Ammo Sharing for Snubs Docked Inside? - Mímir - 07-31-2015 (07-31-2015, 06:58 PM)TheUnforgiven Wrote:(07-31-2015, 05:00 PM)Mímir Wrote: Would docking with a carrier count as PVP-death? There are too many ways to avoid and/or destroy a fight, and this is yet another. We don't need that. If people can't handle their egos getting bruised by giving out their blue, they should just dock and stay docked IMO, otherwise there's not much point in playing the game and improving one's skill. RE: Carriers: Allow Bot/Bat/Ammo Sharing for Snubs Docked Inside? - Highland Laddie - 07-31-2015 Docking on a carrier/cap with a docking module should not count as pvp death. It practically defeats the purpose (or at least the perk) of DMs altogether. To compare it as equal to docking on an NPC base to escape death is silly. From what I've seen, taking away bot-sharing as it previously existed has done plenty to help prevent invincible pvpers and keep things competitive. RE: Carriers: Allow Bot/Bat/Ammo Sharing for Snubs Docked Inside? - Mímir - 07-31-2015 Well okay but if you look at it from the other dude's perspective, who is going to bother fighting someone, drain them for all their regens only to see them dock with a carrier and come back full health?
