In answer to this, according to the Equipment Chart, nearly the Lawful entirety of Bretonia can fly BHG ships, including ALL of the traders. The same is true of the other Houses. The only parts of Bretonia's officialdom that cannot are BIS and QCP.

I can make a much stronger argument for BIS not flying BHG than I can for QCP, no offense to the BIS folks. The other part of the argument that is being ignored is that QCP is the raiding force for Bretonia. BAF does not have ZoI to go into Gallia, effectively limiting them to defensive engagements. QCP is really the only actively offensive arm of the Bretonian military. Ignoring that aspect of the "class" is intentionally limiting the potential of the ID. It is like the old D&D rule that all A$$a$$ins must be an Evil alignment, even if they work for the church or the government.

Well that's a mistake too, if you ask me.

At any rate I think BHG pilots would feel somewhat disillusioned having to fight their own ships in the hands of scumbag enemies. At least we'll never be fighting the house militaries and the corps. I think that makes a huge difference.

I can't really say anything about it. I have only one note that might be worthy. There are no Bounty Hunter ships, that's APM shipline. I do not think that APM would be interested to deliver ships to any pirates, especially if APM is doing business with Gallia and QCP are the guys who targets all Gallic vessels.

On the other hand, I would not be surprised if QCP are mostly deriving from shady enviroment (be honest about it, Privateers are still pirates whose goal is to harass enemy nation and scare away other pirates), hence the connections with Junkers and their technology. I would even risk a statement that QCP should have access to some gear available to Mollys, because Gaians - despite their rightful cause to keep Bretonia clean - were used as Kusari privateers against the Bretonia (and still has Hogosha and Corsair bonds, the reason why OC are acceptable presence in Bretonia).

Edit: Yes, I can see your point Sebastian, but you should take into consideration that QCP are still pirates and would be pretty weird to see pirates using APM line, since Rheinland corporates are also valiable target for Bretonian Privateers (Omegas!).

The APM wasn't created by Lyth in the first place, he simply shaped the current form of it. They were alive in-lore since AT LEAST 2009 from what I've dug out.

I know, but APM since changed hands (and nature). And our poor Mantas suffer every day.

What about you read up my second paragraph up there, instead of whining about Mantas? C:

Small remark on the APM line. No intel faction has access to that line and I see no reason why BIS should have it or why hired pirates such as QCP should have ones as well.

Another remark on the QCP. They are loyal to the Crown as long as they are paid by that Crown - but they are still bunch of pirates. When they won't be paid after the war is ended, they will turn against Bretonia sooner or later, preying on everything without limitations. Mercenaries are already the least reliable and loyal force when are not paid - now imagine the reaction of the bloodthirsty pirates who are not needed anymore.

Sry, was triggered by APM Smile

EDIT: Okay, not flood. I'll stop clowning around.
