As for the "Other" option I would mark the lifepods, since I'm not good at pvp and usually end up in those.

My most used (and probably most kills) ship would easily be my BPA) Challenger, and despite its usually low survivability I got rather good (and thus comfortable) in it after two years or so. Similar situation with the Waran nowadays. I also did like light bombers and had a pretty nice IMG Moray and Bundschuh Bergelmir but much preferred my Challenger (now that I think about it, think it was based off the very first ship I made on the server).

After that it would be the Nyx, but I was still not that great in snubs and spent most of my time getting wrecked by Outcasts in group fights, so my favourite CR ship would be the Thanatos (which I've said is heavy based on agility and firepower, even if it was smallish (back in the day) and small-cored). Had a few with various loadouts and locations.

Lastly, heavy transports like my Atlas and Shire got a lot of use and especially in the latter case were enjoyable to fly.

oh well.

as transporter: Uruz. Strong and still agile. And could be very well equipped. I quite like its look too.

as fighter: Bergelmir. Not too fast like most VHF and as a capacity to be involve in more than just pvp vs other VHF

as capital: Bismark. For historic reasons and also due to the fact that it's quite the only kind ship that needs to be in a pack in order to survive, which means group tactics

Gotta be the freighter for me, nothing makes my smuggler feel more in tune then dodging asteroids and outrunning police in one of those things. Shame they're bloody useless for anything but the pure joy of flying.

As much as I would have loved to chose a capital ship, I went for the VHF. Why?

I suck at space fighting but I am good at running. So, in case I'm a pirate surrounded by police or a navy pilot in a dog fight with enemies focusing on me, the VHF has the highest chances to take me out of that fight... alive.

As for capital ships, I would have chosen the Battlecruiser class because they're fast enough (thruster ftw!) and they can pack a punch. That or cruisers. But overall VHFs are the most comfortable for me.

My favorite class are Bombers. But I only use them for piracy or organized fights where I know I have fighters to keep enemy fighters at bay while I pew the caps.

Went with freighters because of the Clydesdale, naturally.

Heavy and Very Heavy Fighters - well, I'm rather below average in these two, but they're awesome "universal" types of ships that allow you to do pretty much anything you wish and get out of most nasty situations.

Freighters - I like flying them due to their speed. They are good at evading danger before that danger comes too close. Also have a slight but existant profit margin if you trade from time to time.

Light Transports - well, agility and small size. I don't like flying big and clumsy ships that have to soak up all the damage because they turn slower than a planet, and I'm willing to give up cargo space for defences. They're also potent at piracy, so yeah.

Gunboats/Gunships - yet again agility comes first, but they're also quite tough and pack a punch. Good at taking on pretty much anything except cruisers or their heavier brethen, though they have a hard time escaping once they get into the fray.
