RE: BMF feedback - Oldum - 11-23-2015 What I've noticed is (and it also tells a lot about things) that none of @Lord.MacRae s ships were online since the tracker came back, and as far as I remember, he was the one who started the whole BMF thing. If he's not present, then thats how the story got here. RE: BMF feedback - sindroms - 11-23-2015 If this is the extent of roleplay you guys can give people, then you might as well stay AFK near your PoB. Also. While I am not completely convinced that you did something like this, I would like to know if you were the gunboat or eagle that instantly decided to come to shoot me after your ship logged off. Because I would be a bit more disappointed if that was the case. RE: BMF feedback - Goldberg - 11-23-2015 As a BMF| member i can't say anything against this evidence. Yep it's true, the most players in BMF| are quiet new and doesn't really know what roleplay means. I already told it Lord.MacRae, but currently he has some RL problems, so he can't deal with any problems. Thnaks for the response, I had a feeling something like this is behind things, while I also suspect Spazzy will be dissapointed on that matter. However, more experienced BMF members should take this matter under control, cause it will probably ruin BMFs reputation beyond expectations.. and repair .. RE: BMF feedback - Shiki - 11-23-2015 Well new players are have to make money somewhere. Yes there is many problems with in-game rp, but since when faction which accepts new players and allowing them to make money (and basicaly explaines them many aspects of game) is a /bad/ faction? You got me wrong. BMF used to be one of the quality PR trading factions, the ones I enjoy the most ( like the old-old-old IC or the old-old-old GMG ) and there is nothing wrong with accepting new players, but not giving them at least a generic idea about what BMF RP means, or RP in general will make the faction look bad, as factions are judged by the actions of members. Correct me if I'm wrong. RE: BMF feedback - sindroms - 11-23-2015 No no, I am not saying BMF is a bad faction due to their newbie ratio. But one of the reasons factions exist and accept newbies is to fly with them and show them what to do and what not to do. To create a faction means to know a few things about the game, the server, the role play. To gather people around you (even new people) means that you plan to share your knowledge with them. If you only want to have them tagged and boost your activity, then yes, it's a bad faction. BMF wasn't exactly the best faction from the start. Except @Lord.MacRae I had no interesting interactions with any of your ships. RE: BMF feedback - Shiki - 11-23-2015 @sindroms Ah, sure I'm thinking the same actually. BMF leaders or just old players shall do far /more/ work about the new players. But I see no reasons to tell the thing like "you are worse than NPCs" tho. @Mao To be honest BMF doing enough forum RP as unofficial faction (I didn't noticed their officialdom application). Yes some of their players doing awful in-game RP or not doing it at all. About activity yeah, I just checked the tracker. Well, it's a trade faction so it's normal to have such level of activity. From top-6 5 faction are mainly trade factions so thats okay I... guess? I don't think that BMF should go like this, current situation is not normal. At least they could write some RP guide for a new players if leadership is not able to teach every particular guy personaly. RE: BMF feedback - nOmnomnOm - 11-23-2015 I just think this could have gone down so much better than the usual feedback drama... |
