being a trader faction leader, I can see that trading would get very boring very soon, without route options.

As for me, Discovery should be advertised as a RP environment in the first place. And refined to achieve better level of RP-ability. Adding new things statement can fit such a small universe as well: ships, objects in existing space. There are options to put this small universe appealing and advertisible. Simply put it as a feature that raises interaction.

I will tell it once again: If you ever host something like it, count me in to test it Smile
I'm not sure if it could replace the current Discovery, but it would be nice to check it out anyway.
I'm for every realistic change which could be done and those 'big' planets are definitely something I would like to see in game.
I think it could have passed, maybe with much lower player count than the Discovery has right now, but we should find some 'recruits' withno any problems.

Once again: If you ever try to test it, count me in. Maybe I'll be able to bring a few people with me as well

Hm... It sounds like it is FOMD time soon!

They should make some remote planets just like tomioka in nagano. There is a docking ring (not the orginal)that takes you to the planets atmosphere when i first saw it i just said wow whats this i like it! there is a moring point that takes you to the planets settlement ( sad that its a stations settlement) .

Not to be rude, but I don't see pic.

As for the idea, I proposed once an idea about Pocket Sirius, in which 2-3 systems would be present, with removal (no TLs as well) or fusion of certain stations - turning systems into regions.

Also, fuse Ellesmere with Alaska. The latter is very empty in the West.

The picture is pretty much pocket Sirius, two systems per house, two for edge worlds, three for independent worlds, one for OCs and one for Corsairs.

A smaller Sirius sounds good but the reduction suggested is a little extreme for my tastes though I fully support the intention behind it. What the dev team is doing currently, naming cutting down filler and guard systems feels like the better path but it's only half of the issue, the other half I believe is that faction identities have become watered-down and generic until the only differences are the ships and ZoI's.
Simply cramming everyone into oversized systems won't help much if the roles we're meant to be playing are duller than dishwater.

It's quite ironic to see introduced systems removed from the mod.

@Croft I agree with watering down faction identities. Kusari ought to have faster but poorer ships, with pocket destroyer it its fleet and Rheinland was ought to have the most advanced military technology of all Sirius (except for The Order and LSF vessels), with fleet advantageous in quality, not quantity (like Liberty), while Liberty was given role of Space China, trading with everyone and factually owning everyone else because of ecomony.

The thing I love about the map is the vastness of space.
How about we propose star citizen to also be small too. No. Ots kinda the nature of a space game to be big.

Also trading would such SO much if it is smaller space.
