RE: Reformated Discovery - Epo - 11-30-2015 Changes like those mentioned wouldn't help, they may even decrease the activity You're offering too many restrictions due to small number of possibilities - No, I prefer the current system Believe or not, but there are some oldfags who doesn't want to join any factions RE: Reformated Discovery - sasapinjic - 11-30-2015 100% No so far in pool so . . . RE: Reformated Discovery - The Savage - 11-30-2015 If the problem with unbuyable IDs would be solved (despite being green with X faction), I'd say I'm 50/50 for that. Otherwise: no. Setting up character with existing restarts is already time-consuming, which may take up to an hour - especially in case of GRN or Nomads, since they do not have direct access to AU8 inside their own space. Well there is still an alternative which propably might be more useful and even cool for anyone: I know that this idea was mentioned a few times, but I don't think it was thought to the end at all. A possible good thing to start with is an "entry system" from that people can take a jumphole to the desired "restart", instead of or added to the current /restart command. Above each jumphole could be a banner, containing a small faction- and destinationinfo. As i know it would be even possible that a freelancer could get an information like if he reaches rank 43 for example that a displaymessage could appear to the player: "Hello Freelancer, Sirius needs you. You have reached rank 43. Do you want to aid a party? 2. Previous point would propably remove the need of controlling the IDs. 3. Aswell as this. 5. It's basically meant to be that each faction has a predefined inRP-senseful roster of commodities to trade. Currently from a first looking at factions (talking about trading, factions or even mining factions) aren't seperated at all except, mining bonus and reputation. So partially this idea is to first bound the faction to that what they are doing inRP, second increase the communication between factions and third increase the variety of factions to use. I personally think this is an awesome idea that could benefit the server interaction a lot. I was and am propably not a much beloved person within this community. Even though I was misunderstood a couple times, I have done a lot bulls*** aswell. I personally think I am quite a nice, serious and even workful person and I just don't wanted instalink anything and anyone to my "personal" history of discovery. P.S. This was written on a smartphone, so...it might be shitty. |
