If I remember correctly, you became inactive and as such were removed from the faction chat after the last rollcall. Don't join IMG| , simply return where you started in the first place. Send me a PM so we can talk freely.

Because the OP used to be DHC- member, but became inactive and was removed after the rollcall (or left the channel himself when became inactive, I don't remember now).
So I'm telling him he can just rejoin the faction if he's active in disco again, instead of joining a new one.

As far as I know, you simply didn't respond to the rollcall in time. We do these to check who is currently active. It should be no problem to return if you're still interested, just PM @Pavel or contact him on Skype again. You can get reintegrated into the faction fairly quick and join up with our convoys, patrols and mining operations.
Concerning your issues: Military vehicles are a rather sensitive cargo, especially in times of war. We have plenty of advice to offer in DHC- if you're having issues, as well as our own ores and RP cargo we usually ship if you want to get started again.
Regarding your robber: Fighters and bombers have an easy job evading most fire from capital ships and escape if they really want. Only exception would be gunboats, who are an anti-snub platform (snubs are everything smaller or equal to the size of a bomber). If the bretonian navy ships were non-player characters, then it is no surprise that your robber wasn't even scratched: Non-capital NPCs are weak, and most shots from NPC capital ships are fairly easy to dodge (gunboat NPCs may require practice, depending on your ship).
You might be a bit frustrated because things aren't working how you imagine them. Some gameplay elements are fairly strange (this is an unusual and old game, after all) and I imagine the immersive roleplay is fairly new gameplay concept for many as well, which might include you. In time, you'll be able to have a lot of fun once we teach a few neat tricks to get by. It'll work out even better with a group, and I'd say DHC- can help you and your friends in that regard.
In any case, talk to Pavel and you'll be able to return.
