RE: The comings and goings, Of the LNS-Cincinnati - Fuski - 01-18-2016

"Saddle up boys!" the captain had exclaimed, Rearing his hands up like waking up a room full of sleeping crew. Rushing on deck with the XO following suit behind him, Sylus slings his arms out, pointing to crew and flicking fingers to the consoles like orders on a silent ship. "We got places to be! Things to do! A ship to repair!". The crew begins to cheer with ecstatic emotion when they hear they're going to work on the ship and get her fixed up. Maverick and the crew begin the startup procedure, so quick, so fast, they almost set a record time. Cincinnati breaks apart from the fleet, upward she goes, and away over the ring of capital class vessels that protect the Sovereign. Maverick remembered that Hunt had sent the directions to the shipyard to the Cincinnati. The captain walks over to one of the officers amongst the main bridge and a brief exchange of conversation later, a display appears on the bridge's windows showing system layouts of the systems they would be passing. Nothing too descriptive. Only some fields and Jumpholes that were on their pre-determined path.

Space after space. System after system, and into parts of Kusari space within the Sigmas. Maverick read the notes and amongst them was one thing "Half way through, prepare the ship to not be detected." They came across a jumphole that was marked on the route differently than the rest. Maverick knew not what system it led to. Didn't know what was on the other side. But Maverick had a feeling in his gut. If it was anything this old man had learned was to listen to it. "Approach the Jumphole, orbit at 1000m's, engage inertia dampeners and Proceed the Sequence for Underground Railroad."

The Cincinnati closed in to the anomaly. 1500. 1350. 1100. Set. Shields deactivated, the cloaking mechanism can be heard, draining power from the circuitry and hoarding it. "Procedure complete in 30." A crewman said. The device spools. It's audible and very awe-inducing each time the ship begins its protocol. "Complete in 3. 2. 1. Engaged" A field of bright white and light emanates as a circle from the aft, and passes down the base and body of the metal lady, till it cones to a point and vanishes in the stern and the ship disappears. With its movement concealed, the Cincinnati advances.

A low hum resonates from the ship's hull as it pulses with it's altered power output across the hull of the ship, and the batteries in within the ship are zapped one by one. "Alright boys. Time to run silent protocol. Ship's hull is sturdy enough to pass through wormholes without damage. Let's push her through." Cincinnati creeps to the spinning vortex in front of them before being pulled inside and shot out the other end. Passing through the other side in a system even more unknown than the Omicrons to them. Her metal hull grazes some rocks floating amidst the system. Small clangs and tings against her framework along with the resonance is all that can be heard as the Overlord passes through the system. Seeing a random station to the Starboard, and more rocks. Pursuing the path and waypoints, another one marked strangely than the rest. She nears the wormhole destination and passes through that once more. Again the ship follows through to the other side into a nebula that restricts visibility. Along the path in this system of unknown, they see another station, unique, and strange to the things Maverick and the crew was ever used to. Again one more wormhole lies amongst them with a patrol of one Gunboat and two fighters passing by, taking no notice to the pulsing sound aura of the large ship. Through this one into Nagano. A system Maverick traveled many times bringing Furs from Planet Tomioka back into Liberty space. "Get away from this hole. Keep down the path of waypoints set for us. All seems to be going well."

Through the system of Nagano, following the co-ordinates plotted for the ship, they arrive amongst another jumphole, taking them to Tau-37. "He really wants us off the radar." Sylus says in a low and subtle tone. "Well. Self explanitory. To be frank, he either has an ulterior motive, or he actually wants to show us that we can trust him. Alright, Lets get out of the Railroad once we enter the 44." In Tau-37 they pass through the Torres ice crystal field housing a Zoner Installation that Maverick had only visited a time or two, Freeport 10. The last of the jumpholes marked for their trip lies within the Malvinas cloud. Once located and in visual range, Again as time and time before, the ship slows and creeps into the Wormhole. Letting it shoot the Cincinnati out the other side. "Here we are. Let's get the Shipyard within view." The Nebula had been mapped out, showing the edge just nearby. Maverick had the Cincinnati move toward it to get a clear eye of things. Just as the nebula's visibility reduction was starting to lift, a large, roomy, look-at-the-dock Shipyard was coming within view. "That must be it. I can see the Hedgemon moored to 'er side. Let's get out of the railroad, guys." The Crew members below start pulling levers and as the final one is yanked, A loud cringing sound is heard as the "Railroad" shuts off. The built up power is dispersed into the surrounding space, a familiar circle starts from the Stem to Stern and the ship passes through the ring of light, returning to visibility. The re-routed power surges back to the shield, coming back online and charges up to capacity. Cincinnati has passed through house space of Kusari. Undetected as instructed. Arriving at the Singapore Shipyard.

Maverick, Sylus, and crew look at the Shipyard from the bridge. Speachless as they would be, as they've not seen a shipyard quite like it. "Now, I've been in a big yard. Juneau is the biggest by far, but good god. This thing is just amazing." Maverick said, explaining his mind. "Look at the size of that bottom bay. I'm sure they've got room," Sylus interjects. "Enough room for a couple of us, Eh?" one of the members chimes in. "Whelp, Get me comm."

"Singapore shipyard, This is the Overlord class vessel, The Cincinnati. We're requesting to moore to a bay for repairs." Maverick says through the comm link to the tower of the Shipyard. Some silence is the only thing heard in response. Seconds pass. Seeming like an eternity. "You don't think he sold us out do you?" a man questioned sitting behind the radar display. "No. If he wanted to do that, he'd send us somewhere closer to Gallia, deep omicrons, or in Liberty." Maverick answers "this wouldn't be it." Seems like minutes pass as the Cincinnati pulls to the side of the station, awaiting a response.

"Singapore shipyard to Cincinnati. We've been expecting you. Pull into bay two, We'll get you stationary." Maverick smiles as Sylus walks up to the captain and slaps a hand on his shoulder and playfully shaking him forward and backward in delight. The crew cheers loud and proud, feeling like the hardship will soon be over and the Cincinnati will be back to full working order. Maneuvering the Overlord amongst the framework of the Shipyards bays, slowly and easily before coming to rest amongst the stabilizers built into the railings. They had done it. And now one thing left to do. Wait for the first shipment.

RE: The comings and goings, Of the LNS-Cincinnati - Fuski - 01-19-2016

Almost 24 hours pass as the crew bides their time waiting for the first shipment of commodities to reach the Yard, deep in the 44. The crew rests. Play card games. Crack jokes. They do whatever they can to pass by the time. Cleaning, moving, disassembly. Anything necessary had been done within the first 20. Crew working in shifts. 8 hours each time. Like clockwork. Taking part where one left off, and repeat. Organizing pieces. Laying down parts and sifting through wires. Wrenches were turning and drills were pounding. Maverick on deck with Sylus filed paperwork of blueprints and schematics of the engines and consoles before them. Working out a way to get the core out of lockdown.

"Cap! CAP! C'mere! is that what I think it is?" one of the officers says on the bridge. Maverick who had only just woke up. "Can't I get my coffee first?" He staggers, half awake. "No sir! I think you should see this." Maverick walks over to the panel before the member, With half groggy eyes. He squints. Closing them forcefully and opening them, batting them quickly and squinting one more. The half awake captain eyes widen and a big grin starts to grow on his face. "Alright boys! Incoming shipment! Crank up the Music! Break out the drinks! Grab wrenches! Let's get started!" Just as the captain says that, incoming transmission from the vessel approaching. "Overlord class Cincinnati. This is the Ifrit. We're inbound with components. Requesting a mooring point." The crew cheers in excitement and roars amongst the ship. "We hear you Ifrit! Bring 'er on in close and we'll get you unloaded!" Maverick responds to the CT-73 approaching. Maverick motions to Sylus and has him follow.

The Commander runs down to the bay just below the main deck where the ships would be docked. "Suit up! We're dropping the bay! All hands available, we're dropping gravity and bringin' in parts!" Sylus heads over to the comms, radioing to the main deck to drop gravity stabilizers, Letting the crew come to 0 g's. All crew members signal to Maverick that their suits are prepped and ready for space. A quick double check, Sylus and Maverick getting into their suits, check themselves, secure tethers and radio up once more to begin depressurisation. Oxygen is sucked out of the locked and sealed room, The gravity is lifted, and the bay below is dropped out showing the Ifrit with it's red flashing lights head to toe, and it's red cargo pods.

The Ifrit begins to send up the cargo between the ships. Engine components, Hardware, panels, A number of things are sent up between the two ships. The crew of the Cincinnati and Captain intercept and bring them onboard. Setting them aside and moving them down the halls of the Large ship. The crew unpacks and unwraps the parts and components delivered. Beginning to place them grabbing wrenches and socket drivers. Welder guns and plasma. Sparks are flying seamlessly as the first parts reach the engine room. "This is one hell of a payday for us, Gents! Make the most of it!" Maverick says grabbing a crate heading up from Ifrit. Several hours pass as they unload and use the parts amongst the ship. The forward deck reaches Maverick on the radio within his suit. "Mav, We got another one coming in. It's the Shiva." "Well alright! Let him sit behind the Ifrit. Good ol' Initiative contracting!" Not long later, the long blue vessel, Blue steady lights and blue pods pulls up just behind the Ifrit with a second load of goods. The ships after a while call it time. Ifrit and Cincinnati close their bays, buffer the gravity, and return oxygen to pressurize the bay. Crews work into the late hours, Dismantling cutting, fitting, placing, welding, like it was their own Ship shop. Maverick heads into the quarters after a long day and gets some rest.

The following hours presume the same as it did the last 24 hours. They work on the engines and systems. Reinforcing weak points amongst the ship. Giving her a full work over. All 200 men on this ship and the captain. Getting down and gritty. On the final stretch, they had one last thing on their agenda. Bypassing the core lockout. Maverick wakes up and gets his coffee. Walking amongst the crew of the ship, carrying a mug. Doesn't say much because he knows what he has to do in the coming hour. He walks amongst the bays and quarters. Through the engine room and back to the bridge. Nodding and inspecting the progress of the ship as he walks. Sylus is amongst the bridge by the comms talking to deck 9, the core room getting them prepped for work. Maverick nods to Sylus who nods back. "You ready captain?" Sylus asks Maverick while ticking his head to the right, motioning to the panels below. "About as ready as we should be. Everything on the hull is complete. Engines are being finished as we speak. May as well get the last thing under wraps." Maverick answers, Finishing his last sip of coffee and putting the mug down on a fixed desk in the back of the Command room. Him and Sylus move over to the panels, removing them and displaying complex wiring, lights, levers, buttons, and equipment that would be impossible to work on if you knew nothing about it. Maverick takes a mic, with more than the normal layout, it has multiple buttons on it and lays down on his back below the console. He begins to work on wires. Tracing bunches of twist tied, ziplined wires. Working old training and memories in his mind. Tracing every piece of old knowledge he has. Talking back and forth between deck 9. During the procedure, two freelancers show up on radar. "Sir, two contacts approaching, Freelancers." "Alright. I'll talk to them".

"This ship is going to make me or break me, Sylus. And I don't break easilly." Maverick spoke to his XO while kneeling down to the console and getting back into position amongst the charred wires and paneling. "If you don't, then we'd of probly not left Liberty." Sylus leans against a console crossing his arms over his chest looking at Maverick with a half cocked grin. Captain returns the look with a glare that would end worlds. "Get me some new wiring from the hold. A few chips. and a datapad." "Yes, Sir!." Sylus pops to attention with a playful salute and drops his arm fast, swinging it behind him and pointing to a couple members of the bridge to follow. Maverick starts to unbolt the card reader. When done, he sits up, turns around Grabbing the whole piece of console and just starts to yank the thing out of the dash. "C'mon you little Bi***... Get... Out... OF... THEEEERRRRE!" Wires strip and snap. Slowly giving way under the pissed off captain's attitude. More sparks fly from the dash, monitors cut out, lights turn off, smoke fills the bridge and the ship lies dead.

Sylus returns to the bridge. There's a moderate amount of smoke filling the air. Smelling like electrical systems had been burned and wires were scorched. He turns his head to find Maverick sitting on the desk where he'd put his coffee mug, one leg propped up and smoking a cigarette with his arm resting on the knee of the up leg. Beside him the ID reader with a mangled mess of wires hanging out of it like a strange creature from the depths of the sea. "Having fun?" Sylus tosses over a sandwich to the captain. "Well." He says catching the sandwich with his freehand. "While you were out making subs, I was killing battleships barehanded." Maverick cocks his head sideways putting down the cigarette and opening the sandwich. Sylus and crew slightly chuckle. The have a quick meal amidst the smoke. Having no way to vent it without power, they work amongst it as well. Sylus helps Maverick, sitting indian style next to him with a datapad, as Maverick bolts up a new piece of computer he fixed together with some spare parts. "This bad boy is a little trick I learned on Juneau. It's how we got ships to fly right without having the access to the computer systems. Hand me another stick." Sylus reaches into his uniform's front pocket pulling out another cigarette and lighting it, passing it to the captain under the panels, taking it, and puffing on it as he wires up the interesting toy. "Alright. Ganes, Start drilling holes into the paneling to mount the datapad. Stevens, grab a book from the quarters and start working on a program to run the ship on our ID's." "Yes Mav." they say together.

The process takes 4 hours of only sunlight entering the bridge. The Cincinnati is hot inside. The crew is dropping bullets of sweat down their faces. The smoke is thicker slightly and after a pack of cigarettes or three later they start to get it under wraps. They touch wires one by one to a sensor, relaying the locations each went to. Tying them together with color coded braids to each deck. "Alright... This layout should be familiar. Sylus, you following me?" "Well, I'll be. Got that hook up?" "Right here." Sylus grabs the plugin and snaps it into the Datapad. Where he works diligently. Maverick chiefs the cigarette as he continues to plug up wires. "I was wanting to avoid doing this if possible. Crossing wires for a bypass would have been quicker and not as damaging to the ship's mainframe. But I got tired of dicking around with it." "I feel you captain. You know I can re-program. So once we got the ship's layout and connection ping, we can get the mainframe on the same page." " You ready?" "Yeah." "Start her up. Make sure you keep the bypass active till we can get the second pad touched in." "Alright. Connections tight?" "Yes" "Bolted in place?" "Solid." "Here we go..."Sylus touches some buttons ont he touch screen, and with a slight hesitation, pushed down on the final. The ship sits silent.

Several seconds of still seeming like forever in dramatic moments till the Cincinnati's lights, engines, ventilation, motors, all come online and the ship comes to life. "HAHA! HOT SH** SYLUS!" "We did it captain! We're around the lockout!" "Teach them pricks to show me more than I need to know!" "Good thing for Juneau training, eh?!" "Hehe, Amen! Stevens! Got that program?" "Yes sir! Right here." "Sylus, keep the bypass on. Work your magic. You know what I like!" "Don't worry, I know what makes you happy.' Both men laugh together, overjoyed that the Ship had been returned to life. "Hunt would love to hear this. Once we're done here, we'll head back to Theta. I'll get on the comms and send a message to the Guild Master thanking him for his time."

Time and time again. The Cincinnati pulls through. You can kick her. You can beat her. She'll just come back. Stronger. Better. You can't take out the Nasty 'nati. She was limping. She was locked out. She was blacklisted. But the crew presses on.

RE: The comings and goings, Of the LNS-Cincinnati - Fuski - 02-09-2016

Complete. As she was. The lockout bypassed, The ship's engines repaired, Fully functional, and able to finally be worth a damn, The Cincinnati had overcame the odds thanks to the Independent Miners Guild. The last hour, while the crew finished up everything and squaring away loose cargo, Maverick went to his captain's quarters to relay a message to Joshua Hunt. The very moment he stepped through the doorway, He receives a transmission from him. They spoke about The Cincinnati's success in restoring the ship to full potential and that Maverick and crew were to head out to Inverness to survey a potential planet for a little colonization. Maverick and crew wasted not a single second to scope out a place they can finally call home. Maverick also sends a regard thanks while in his quarters to the Guild Master before heading back to the bridge.

"What was that about?" Sylus asked when Maverick returned to the bridge with yet another sleeve of paper in hand. "Seems you're always getting something. Like magic." "Seems Hunt is full of little ditties isn't he?" Maverick replies cheerfully and a cocked smile, waving the note back and forth between two fingers. "We got another batch of orders from him. This time, We're going to Inverness. One of the systems that Congress resides in. Been there a time or two on the snub for code named weaponry." He adds. Sitting down in the fore-seat, pulling out a pack of cigs. Digging one out, placing it between two chapped lips and a goatee, holding out the pack to Sylus while digging out a lighter with his other hand. "Congress? Ain't them the blokes who promised you that captain's chair?" quizickly raises an eyebrow, reaching for a cancer stick that Maverick had outstretched. "Ye-ap. That's them." Lights the cigarette, and extends the lighter to Sylus. "Maybe I can pull some of my own strings." says Maverick, while Sylus lights his stick, taking a few hits and a drag before pulling it away with two fingers. "Time to go gents. Ganes, Get on the comms and Tell The Artemis they're going with us. We got everything nailed down?"

Stevens reports to decks for situation reports, All check in according, 1 through nine and the go is given to depart. Ganes confirms plans with the AWACS Corvo that escorted the Cincinnati and they leave Singapore Shipyard in Tau-44, for their new waypoint. The trip doesn't take long from Tau-44. Taking some back ways through Baffin and into Cortez. Right next to Liberty's space of California, and into Inverness. They first arrive within an orange/purple nebula of rocks and Asteroids. As if it was the first one they'd ever been in... It's no surprise. There's always Nebulas with large looming rocks. Engaging in cruise engines, the two ships head to a station that He'd been to before. Good ol' Junkyard, situated just behind the planet that resides behind Invergordon Space Port. "That planet there. That's the first place to start. We'll sweep around the system. Take notes of temperatures, Gravitational pulls, and any life-forms. Try to get atmospheric content and densities if possible. Wills, Ganes, Keep in contact with the AWACS and see if Ivan can help from his side." "Aye, Mav."

[Image: 12705248_1129804323696964_29484384151728...e=5733EF6F]

They scoured around looking for the right place. Each planet and lump of rock with a decently available habitat for colonization. They surveyed the moons. The clouds and nebula's. They scanned wildlife and composition. Everything within the system.

[Image: 12647401_1129804350363628_90297661136127...e=5724444A]

before finally resting on their target. Planet Forres. A small, hot, water driven world with various lifeforms planetside.

[Image: 12654673_1129804217030308_89667964842338...e=576F7843]

This was it. This was the one. Liveable in the poles where the temperature was the least harsh and not as smothering. "Artemis confirms readings. This planet here is the one most habitable by us. We should inform Hunt." Ganes says from the corner. Maverick nods and looks at Sylus. Motioning him to come with. Just before they head off the bridge. A random system wide Burst transmission comes along from someone within the system. One of the Congressman had been monitoring their probes and radar and noticed them come in. Maverick and the Congressman, which was named Mr. Wheat to everyone with a badge, but Rico to others, about their findings and purposes within the System. Maverick couldn't pull no punches here and be honest with the Congress Junkers. Seems the Congress themselves are also a tad shady. Having Black Market munitions, slaves, Drugs all imported and exported from the system. May as well come clean. As such, Rico came to terms with letting the group use their stations under one condition. If anyone came looking, they didn't know each other. Fair enough. Rico said his goodbyes to the crew and Artemis. Now was the perfect time to moore to Invergordon and get in contact with Aegis.

RE: The comings and goings, Of the LNS-Cincinnati - Fuski - 03-03-2016

Having told Hunt about a possible planetary settlement, they were instructed to hold position in the Inverness system and await the fleet's arrival. Rico, A man of quite the stature, checked in on Maverick and crew from time to time. Days pass. There was whiskey, and Ale. There was Synthetic Marijuana and Counterfeit software use. There was partying and play. There was also serious watch and work to be done. The Artemis and Cincinnati's crews made full use of the Spaceport, as given the prompt instruction by Rico to do so. The Men had a blast. Former Naval members and Junkers, carrying on in a manner seemingly Never seen amongst Sirius.

The laughs and giggles, the high times and shenanigans eventually stopped once Aegis Initiative arrived within the system to do their homework of the Planet Forres. Cincinnati and Sovereign took point and perched themselves a-top the planet. Probes sent down to assert assessments of the crust and usable areas. Turns out there's a bunker that some Hellfire Legion Wing was using as a base until it was bombed from an orbital strike by the ARCHIMEDES unit, A large Arbiter class battleship. Which. They eventually came to know was unmanned and a prototype AI that gained its own sense of self awareness. How did they find out? Well, reader, Maverick and crew came across this ship with the MNS-Aurora of the 72'nd wing. Why were there 3 battleships ships within Inverness, casually talking? Your guess is as good as mine. Seems that the ARCHIMEDES unit was also sent out to arrest a wing of their own called Task Force Gladius. The very rogue group that made the now present, HLX Nerve toxin that Stacker and Hunt possess on the Sovereign. Why is there a connection between Hunt having the toxin, and it being made by Legionnaires? Maverick sat for hours in his quarters. Running through old notes he had jotted down. Names. Systems. Connections. But something drew him to Augustin Pierce, who of which is already dead. As they say, you could beat a dead horse all day. But it's not going anywhere.

During the survey and 3 week long stay in Inverness, Hunt and Maverick also noticed that LSF agents had been poking around. Snooping and looking for Maverick's ship. One such time, he was even visited by an old friend. Jack O'neill. The captain of the 5th|LNS-Odyssey and Maverick's Former fleet admiral. Jack had arranged a meeting between Him and Maverick deep out of the way in the Cortez System. At which they met, but Hunt wasn't about to let Jack have Cincinnati to himself. Accompanied by The Artemis and a couple other ships, they stayed at a distance to overlook Cincinnati's well being. Jack was headstrong. As he always was. A navy bred obedient dog who was given the orders to see that the Cincinnati be destroyed and the entire crew killed. They were about to finish up their little "talk". Sovereign and Artemis came in to escort the 'nati out, when Jack started to slander Mavericks crew. To Maverick, they are not crew. These were his Family. Maverick couldn't turn a blind eye to Jack's loose lipped bashing of his Family. A nerve had been struck. Maverick brought all crews to battlestations and began an assault on Jack's ship. For broadside for broadside, Maverick's Family fought Jack's crew. Equipped only with mainly a support loadout, The Cincinnati was eventually overcame by the 3 Cerberus class heavy guns mounted on the fore of the Odyssey being an assault Overlord. The ship was damaged heavily and it had returned to base while the Sovereign and the Artemis did a number on Jack's ship in return. Sending the Odyssey back to Liberty for repairs as well. Jack made his intentions clear when he continued to insult Maverick's crew. Knowing he had hit that one soft spot and antagonized the attack intentionally.

In Inverness, Maverick frothed with despise over Jack's actions. He had been a strong captain. A great leader. No matter what happened. Jack was there. But he also remained obedient to the left hand of the Liberty Navy's First Fleet. Jack had a mark on Maverick's back, ever since he left the boundaries of Liberty. Now. Maverick has the same mark on Jack. Once great friends. Now the worst enemies.

Several more days pass since the Cincinnati had been nearly taken out by the Odyssey. She finds herself and crew amongst a nebula Cloud in Cortez as requested by Joshua. A small brief meeting between Him and two people, one named Amy, and the other Lexi. During the patrol, Artemis assumed a position near the tradelanes to keep an eye on passers, and the Cincinnati backed the wall to enforce that nobody showed up to interrupt. The usual passers here and there. Traders not taking notice. A colonial poking a nose around. Then some legionaries. Unexpected as they were, brought a battlecruiser and an Arbiter class battleship. In a stare down as the members of the Initiative, Raven, and the Hellfire spoke to each other.

[Image: 12669514_1129804210363642_16095868917833...e=574B7320]

They faced down each others barrels for ten minutes straight. Maverick listened closely to any information relevant, and found out that Locklear, the current top brass of the Hellfire Legion, and Joshua have some old ties with each other. As they smoothed out details, a direct conflict was averted and the ships passed without a single bombardment being lobbed from any cannons or guns. For a few days, The initiative kept low. Scouring over the planet in Inverness. Keeping a close watch over the system for any patrols that may come knocking. It would be too good to be true. Eventually, the Agents of the Liberty Security Force would follow their noses. Sniffing any form of trail. Maverick and Hunt knew they couldn't compromise the Congress with their presence. A tactical retreat over to Coronado, where battlegroup Auxesia would reside, was their only option. Hunt, making friends as he went along, had strategic fallback formed up just in case they needed an out.

Maverick contacted Rico of the Junker Congress once more to inform him of the decisions, four days after the re-location of the fleet.

Based out of the cloud in the Coronado system, they use Barrier Gate Station as a place to get resources. Since then. They've been keeping to themselves, rallying new parties and collecting their assets to tally their abilities. Maverick and crew forge their story more from here until their next move.

RE: The comings and goings, Of the LNS-Cincinnati - Fuski - 03-03-2016

Several small meetings happened after the move to Coronado's barrier nebula. All seems to be falling into place slowly. Amongst other things, Maverick and crew have managed to meet and be acquainted to several people. Sapphire Raven, of Auxesia, holding more of a role to the Initiative with each passing day. Segelinde Loraine, A BDM special operations member who has taken quite the liking to the Radar Overwatch on the Cincinnati, Steve Ganes. Amy Cromwell, A buff lass of sorts, capable of many things but dealing with her past. She's a feisty one. And so is Sylus, the XO of the Cincinnati. Amy of which also has an AI, well endowed in her own right, named Nixie. There's also Amy's sister, Koria, and her AI named Raven. Days turn into Weeks as each passing turn unfolds. From Omicron Delta, to right in between Bretonian and Liberty space, These are the events, and their stories....

RE: The comings and goings, Of the LNS-Cincinnati - Fuski - 03-14-2016

The events of the BIS took it's toll on Maverick as He prayed for Sylus' safety and life. To lose him... Would be like losing his whole crew. While they were in Coronado, Joshua Hunt had meetings with several groups of people, trying to seal the deal on house backing, as well as improving relations with them. One such, that the Cincinnati was present for, was a meeting in the Hudson system with the BDM, A Rheinlandic intelligence service, much like the BIS and the LSF. Maverick and crew took the Cincinnati by Hunt's request to go see a man named Volker Koch. Establishing a common enemy is what it was mainly for. The Nomads. During the meeting, some things got brought up between some wingman and the Cincinnati. A Segelinde Loraine, an intelligent person, but very shifty within her seat. Maverick in his years of Naval patrols noticed something quite familiar about her. Ganes, the Radar overseer on the ship's bridge noticed something quite well...

While they spoke at the meeting, there was a number crunch session about how destructive the Dawnbreaker's power would be. Ganes noticed her ability to do some number things in her head. That drew him to her like a lost fly to a street light. Maverick however. He saw symptoms. Problems with her that he had seen in many Outcasts. She was on a drug called Cardamine. But she got real sneaky with it. She had put this orange powder in her cockpit facemask to administer doses of the drug. They both noticed her, and had a brief, private, conversation while Joshua Hunt spoke to Volker Koch. The meeting ended. Ganes said his peace and wished her the best of luck.

It was a few days later, after Ganes, Maverick, and Segelinde spoke here and there, Segelinde had contacted them about some munitions that Hunt may be able to use. Those munitions would be enough to fuel a whole navy for weels and she had no need for them. Maverick sent out a Stork, the Shiva, to retrieve them. Stevens, the comms officer, kept a link open with the Shiva and oversaw the situation itself. Matt and Mike, the brothers who fly the ship, were put into quite the position where they had to act quickly. A self destruct sequence had been initiated aboard the Freighter that Loraine was flying. The cargo, along with the explosion of the ship, would have blown the Cincinnati to pieces if it was sitting near the ship during destruction. However. The timer was off. The Munitions were offloaded before the sequence was initiated. It was a good thing that the Shiva had got there instead.

The sequence started. Loraine Knew what it was. She had to get out of there, and on the double. The ship began to blow apart, eventually blasting a hole out the side of the hull. Mike dropped out, tethered to the Shiva's interior, and caught her before being thrown into the abyss of space. Pulling himself and her into the Shiva's bay, they made a waypoint to Barrier Gate, do deliver her and the Munitions to Cincinnati.

RE: The comings and goings, Of the LNS-Cincinnati - Fuski - 03-18-2016

Still shaken, Segelinde had recovered from her failed assassination, Something Maverick had felt they had skirted by sending the Shiva instead. Loraine hopped into a ship aboard the Cincinnati, Taking one of the crew's personal wings instead. Dropped off some video of her doing math stuff out loud and various complex equations along with... A bra. Only Maverick Knew. A little surprise for Ganes before she returned home. She flew back to Rheinland, and was detained. Put on lockdown and eventually sent by Geoff Enfield to Omicron Alpha under the Supervision of Zeal, His Artificial Intelligence. Loraine had contacted them, telling them where she was. She was in pain. Detoxing from the Cardamine in her system.

To her, Breathing normal air was like taking a breath of needles. Her veins on fire. Her eyes and skin felt like they were being stabbed repeatedly. It was harsh to watch. But eventually she subsided. She was able to breathe normal air once more. While in a video call with Maverick and Ganes, she said "I'm done here. I'm coming." And left out of Alpha against anyone's command. Volker and Geoff didn't know. Not even Zeal. She flew from Alpha to the gate where the Cincinnati was. Maverick greeted her with a smile, and walked her to Ganes. That boy's face never was as bright as it was when she stood before him. They went to his quarters and weren't seen till the next morning. Maverick peered into Gane's room, where he saw a bunch of books of High tech, digibabble, papers of equations, more books, and things that not even Maverick could understand. He also saw Loraine, in front of Ganes, with his arm wrapped around her and the Bra she sent in the box, draped at the end of the bed. The only light lit in the room, was the paper mache model of Omicron Alpha in the corner. Maverick left the two alone, with a smile and walked away to the bridge.

Maverick entered the bridge to see a Call waiting for him. It was Joshua Hunt telling him that Volker Koch was looking for him and wanting to speak. Strange. Wonder how he knew. Stevens worked a little while sipping the morning brew, Wills and Maverick wait, also drinking coffee while Maverick also smokes a morning Cig.

Several hours later, Maverick headed to the Barrier Gate Medical Bay to see Sylus and how he was doing. Meanwhile, the Crew head out to Cortez, by the lanes for a passtime of theirs. Called Counting Traders.
