Senor, while I will fully support your bid to up the amount of light fighters and interceptors in our forces, I will stress the primary fighting force of our pilots has been the Titan ever since it's introduction to the theater of war. It will probably remain as our primary fighter craft until it is decomissioned (whenever that may be).
I would not want wrest pilots of their Titans - they are good multi-purpose ships, require less training than an interceptor to pilot effectively and are far more hardy than their lighter cousins. trying to alter that role may well place a mark on your back for many experienced Corsair dogfighters, comprende?
Light fighters have their purpose, much alike the capitals you are trying to replace, so a mix of all ship classes is needed for true victory: interceptors, heavy fighters, very heavy fighters, bombers.
The fact that pilots are converting to a fighter class ship is the main thing Si?
