Leaving threads are sad. Not only does the community lose a member, but a number of you seem to think it is OK to use it as an opportunity to confirm that you are insensitive and condescending with some sort of superiority complex because you are just so l33t, therefore ensuring they don't return.

And then you have the audacity to blame the admins, moderators and devs because "Disco is dying" on a daily basis. There's no way it could have anything to do with abrasive community members or a lack of decency on the part of the keyboard warriors, could it?

Every time i open a leaving thread i hope to see a change in the replies, every time i just find more mocking and hate.
Siriusly, you guys have been doing this for years as players continue to leave, when are you going to stop?
When there are dozens of leaving threads filled with the same reasons for leaving, is it not time to change?

Or, ya know, keep ignoring the problems, keep ridiculing the players that hand us the information we need, keep relying on the indifferent, the ignorant, the "in-crowd", and most importantly the new to stop discovery from completely dying off, keep blaming the dwindling population on freelancer being an old game, on ddos and hackers, on school holidays, and on newer games.
Because why not, after all it has worked for the past decade, there are always going to be those who complain and leave, you have no reason to do anything but laugh at them and then forget about them.

Actually, my response about asking for the stuff is genuine. If he legitimately has no use for it by virtue of him being gone, I'll take it.
