This was a bad feature, I was happy when it was finally removed.
Now it's back and everyone can see when I make a mistake in a post and have to edit.

I don't understand what's so bad about it. It's useful to know when a post has been edited. I'm glad it's back.

Ironically the actual issue of recent dramas prompting the return of this feature is not solved by it. Admins can still continue and edit their own stuff without any notice.

this used to be a thing, and then it was removed because it has literally no reason to exist and it did nothing but annoy almost everyone on the forum, people do not need to know that your post was edited, many RP posts take several edits before they are really ready to be left alone, there isnt any need to have this displayed to anyone but the moderation and admin teams..

I don't think it's necessary but neither do I think that it should be removed once it has been implemented.
