What's the problem with the Sair base being cut off? It would function as a forward outpost. OCs have a base in Newcastle (!) and no one complains about that being cut off. I say go with the initial plan.

Radial symmetry, no dockable bases, literally nothing interesting....that system is an appalling waste of space and a genuine insult when you remember the brilliantly designed, unique, interesting system it replaced: Omega-15.
Any solution that forces people to go through that featureless mess of a diarrhea colored system should be avoided.
While option A does sound the most attractive geographically, if it means Omega-9 stays, I'm against it. If Omega-9 would be changed to something interesting, for example something like Omega-15 was, that'd be the option to choose. Until then I'd prefer B, because it's the option that explicitly mentions the removal of that awful place.
Lets delete O-9 and bring back O-15.

Heyhey!
I used to be an adamatent defender of Omega 9, but after trying to get things rolling there, I have to admit: boring, bad, bland system. Unnecessary (except for balancing route length, it seems). Therefore: kill it off, please. Moving factions closer to each other and not having empty and boring space between it are good ideas.

I would suggest moving the Hessian's Wolfsburg Shipyard to Dresden and use the Omega-54 system to replace Omega-9's position.

Why would we put Wolfsburg in a war zone that's like saying Southampton shipyard should be in Leeds. We also have an extremely limited number of capital ships we can't afford to risk defending another instillation in Dresden.
