Regarding the restriction on Liberty caps - CusoJR - 11-09-2008

Might I provide a compromise? The problem that I see is that New York is over crowded with caps yet California, Texas, Colorado and such are completely empty. Instead of recalling (and in reality PVPing them out of existence) might I suggest ordering them out of New York leaving only ships commanded by the Admiralty to patrol New York. If done properly this would provide more coverage all around Liberty and keep the Lag down.

How do you intend to regulate that?

Tried, many indies either refuse orders or simply come back after they do one patrol, it again would have to come down to shooting them for disobeying, any other suggestions?

i haven t seen too many capital ships in new york lately - but if you wish, we can nerf the liberty cap ships down so much that no one wants to fly one anymore ....( now s your great chance before 4.85 comes out )

other than that - do what you must do, but provide those that you consider "rogues" with a good, logical and plausible explanation WHY they are considered hostile from there on. -

oh - and chances are that you create a civil war that you won t win....

Ask them to regester in another said topic and tell them that they need a story for anything Cruiser and above. Also , encourage them to participate in some of your official buisness and to post there endevours into the Liberty Lawfulls MD.

I'd say don't resort to shooting them down just yet. Give the information a good mounth or so to sink in and spread to all independent Liberty capital ship vessels.

Also , I'd like to know something. Does Liberty sell some of there capital ships to the BHG >?

No.

They do not.

EDIT: At least not with a good story. (I.e. scrapped craft recommissioned, minus main gun usually)

The registry has been done, it failed, try to look for it, King posted it a long long time ago, so, any other suggestion?:P

King abandonned because no one enforced it.
So, if you apply it, make the LN enforce it.

Also, the Citadelle doesnt exist as a player ship anymore indeed.

We did try to enforce it, but that enforcement results only in stupid hassle for us, and absolutely no good things come out of it. Ask Eppy:P Forum RP is completely irrelevant to me, in game RP is important.

This measure has been taken to cut down on the pvpwhoring, and to make liberty more enjoyable for both sides of the fight. It is completely unilateral at the moment, as no indie caps aside from those listed will be able to fly for now. However people may apply via PM to any member of the admiralty with the RP for their ship.

We will review it and make a decision, then that person will be allowed to fly on a trial basis. If we see them behaving responsibly and don't get many serious complaints (a lot of people complain when they get killed, so a fair few can be ignored) then they will be able to keep the ship permenantly.

I won't be operating a registry system like Eppy did, but I will be keeping it far more private and unofficial.

I would like some input from mb52 on this, as I see him reading it...
