It happens that you see a forward cannon fire straight behind your opponent's ship while you are in front of it, but it still damages you. That never happens with mortars. I do sometimes see them miss and do damage, but they only miss by a couple of inches. Forward guns have brought the bug to a whole new level.
Why this happens, I don't know. I can only name the differences between the two weapon types, but I would like to know the cause. Perhaps we could fix it if we knew it.

Lagg causes them to appear to miss when they actually hit, the same goes for SNACs.
Snoopy's idea could work I'll have to look into it.

Try to select something that travels at the speed of 900m/s, and then CD it. As of being deflectable by a flak, that can easily be controlled by increasing the mass of the missile.

The more Wesker-proof things here, the better.I guess the latter should imply too, because of equality, democracy and all.
