I think that's because three years ago we did not have Cloak Distruptors. That's why statement needs review, I suppose.

I thought that in order to do this, you had to keep a cargo scan on the ship before it cloaked away. That doesn't really sound like an intended feature if it's true. Missiles tracking an already cloaked ship doesn't make any sense when cloak disruptors exist.

Fairly sure there was a green statement long long ago saying it was bannable. And I saw another time last year when an admin came up and said that spamming missiles/CD at an already cloaked person was bannable, ingame.

It's somewhat common sense too, it's not supposed to be detected/selectable beyond noise or guessing the direction, so don't bypass that.
