actually it will be random jump, so you will jump 5 or 8k away randomly
you need luck to jump near a light ship

or

using jumpdrives should drain your energy
so jumpdrives should be used to escape from a battle of course if there is fighters or bombers, you can't escape because they are faster
however you will have chance against a cloaker

Well, if it's possible, a jump drive disruptor could be implemented, also the battleship that jumps could use half of his energy after the jump

Simply delete them for good. I'm tired of damned LOLOC Sarrisa's roaming in lib and as soon as it is about to get killed it simply pushes the <insert whatever swear word you want> and jumps away to refuell and come back or troll you in sys chat. Delete damned jump drives forever.

To prevent pvp abuse, you could just actually make them incredibly fragile as they're charging up, really.

Disabling shields, negating armour effects (or just simply multiplying damage by 5x), lowering energy to 10%, disabling cruise, etc.

Remove the plugin responsible for their functioning.

For a month or two set their NPC buy price to 500 mil or however much their general price is.

Done.

Because #deletecore is a meme. Jump Drives are not and are causing problems without benefits.

I'd rather delete the 15%~ that don't like Core.

Besides, Core doesn't jump away from fights to grab regens and then come back in.

But they don't show up to events though eeeeeee
