Makes sense to me, although I think the name change had something to do with...something important.

it's also the most fitting name because it contains the edgiest factions :^)

Also yeah, Outer-Rim kind of makes me think Star Wars, since everyone tends to call it the Edge worlds here anyways, it makes sense.
