RE: Please release the Core| Caps - Corile - 05-04-2016 I am also in favour of releasing the caps, for the reasons Karst outlined. RE: Please release the Core| Caps - 7AlphaOne1 - 05-04-2016 I have come to notice that the engaging of zoners is not the only violation listed in the sanction. And although I understand how lack of five ships can affect the event, I don't think the Core has any shortage of ships, nor are any other shipclasses counted. There have to be much more caps as already stated. Nontheless, Karst does have a point. The Core ID states that they can engage organisations considered hostile by them. The whole event could not even exist if the Core was not allowed to act according to this line in their ID. Core got attacked by Zoners, Core sees Zoners as hostile and attacks the freeport. Here we go! So, actually the bastilling does not make sense at all. If there had to be sanction, then that all Core ships get a FR5 on zoner rep to reflect their current roleplay. *EDIT* Read the sanction again. They should have also lost their guns for shooting the order ship again when it tried to leave the system, ok. Yes, but no. Good job of taking the things out of the context. Can attack unlawfuls, quasi-lawfuls and ships which belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by the Core within their Zone of Influence. Though yeah, zoner id is even more limited, yet they are still shooting each other somehow. RE: Please release the Core| Caps - Mephistoles - 05-04-2016 I'm not quite sure what to make of this. One the one hand, it could be argued that a rule violation has occured, but was it so grossly offensive to warrant shutting down a major activity generator? Sure it's treading a line, but perhaps put in an RP context, it's not so bad. The one thing I am sure of is that calling for Lyth to be unbanned just because there are things going on is absolutely ridiculous. He broke the rules, got sanctioned, and does not deserve special treatment simply because his faction is in the midst of a storm of drama. If you don't want to be unable to participate on the forum, don't break the forum rules. It really is that simple. "Pilot carrying this quasi-lawful ID is a Zoner, who:" It's taken from wiki, so might be a bit outdated, no access to game atm.

There is only one non-shared Mako, to my knowledge, in the Core. What I'm trying to say karst is despite that I agree with you, I wouldn't expect much from the community. He deserves it, he did it with his own hand and now expects people to love his faction? I would even ban him permanently if I were one of the admins, his attitude and his faction members did a lot of harm to the game so far. OORP hate didn't happen out of the blue, there are many reasons about which players out there can tell more. There have to be much more caps as already stated. The flaw in that bolded part is glaringly obvious. At the start of this ridiculous crusade, Core had not officially declared zoners (which means as a whole) hostile. and to declared a whole section of players as hostile for the actions of a very few lolindies is absurd in-and-of itself and smacks of blatant and rampant searching for excuses to blow up everything in sight. |
