Will you do this by every single pirate from now on? Or any lawful forces who try to fine you for smuggling? Congrats. Do this and many will dislike you. Sure, many pirates want quite a lot money for Gold Ore etc. but this is normal? Try to get some money with less profitable routes first. And it really isn't that hard to find a few people to make convoys with. Factions let FLs join there convoys from time to time too. RE: Im having a bad time, or literally nothing in the game is fair. - Jack_Henderson - 05-26-2016 First, you need to learn how the pirates operate. New players are at an enormous disadvantage when it comes to metagaming, therefore read this article, Section "D. Successfully Countering Metagaming: How to do it?". This will at least give you an insight how it is always you who gets hit. Because, to be honest: There are hardly any pirates around these days. There were times when it was normal to get pirated at least once per trip, my personal maximum was 5 times per ore run. But these days are long gone. My 2nd advice would be: find a group to fly with. Don't play alone. Flying together is more fun, safer and generally less frustrating/grindy. Also, changing your mentality towards piracy might help. Calculate 10 % of every run as "piracy fund", and assume you normally lose it. After a few runs without losses, it's okay if you lose your cargo/money again. Getting all sour and frustrated is not the way. Also: make a pirate and experience the other side. Piracy is by no means easy, fun and profitable. Having both angles is invaluable and will make you a better player. RE: Im having a bad time, or literally nothing in the game is fair. - Pavel - 05-26-2016 Jack is an experienced player in this - listen to his advice. Read his link - it's a well explained guide. This should help a lot. RE: Im having a bad time, or literally nothing in the game is fair. - nOmnomnOm - 05-26-2016 want someone to help you escort? i can do, i suppose. I have not seen much pirates so maybe i can get some action out of it as well
RE: Im having a bad time, or literally nothing in the game is fair. - Curios - 05-26-2016 Wow, being pirated more then once in a whole year is really sound like someone might be out to watch you playing to log and pirate you know, many now just alt tab trading because amount of players and % of pirates among them is super low.
