RE: Geb Model (Poll) - TheShooter36 - 06-13-2016 Combine the rear of V1 with front of V3 and please make sides of it something unique, not an osiris ripoff or LAC slapping. RE: Geb Model (Poll) - Ace Razgriz - 06-13-2016 Its kinda hard to "Really" not make an osiris rip here, although the Geb is still a shipclass of its own it is still a modified Osiris class, so thus I vote for option A, although I do not necessarilly like its final form. RE: Geb Model (Poll) - Robert - 06-13-2016 I personally like what you tried with the nose of A. I think the middle is to much as the osiris and the engines I do not really like. The shape of the engine cover looks strange for the dual engine setup. RE: Geb Model (Poll) - Omicron - 06-13-2016 The Order HC votes for the A. We like what you did with it, with all the features we asked for included in. Our current feedback: 1. Section dividing the front tubes looks rushed and has very odd shape. Consider making it a slightly longer runway for both upper and lower tube. Then you could get rid of yellow bits. 2. With how the tubes are orienated, having them angle slightly towards the sides will not hurt the idea. 3. The yellowish part behind the tubes needs flattenning, it doesn't look good right now. 4. Engines behind look like they could be made at least 1.5x bigger to take full use of ship's width and height. Consider adding one solid "engine panel" on their sides and remove much of the bulky armor overhead in exchange for more engine's section clearance and gun-emplacements near corners of the upper exhaust. RE: Geb Model (Poll) - Apollon - 06-13-2016 (06-13-2016, 08:57 PM)Durandal Wrote: I'll take the one that isn't a boring Osiris variant please. Since when exactly are ships of the same shipline and tech not supposed to look the similar. Yeah, the lib dread and the LAC aren't supposed to look the same at all. Jeez that logic. Anyway, I vote for A. I lke the model in overall, although could use a few tweakings as what @Omicron clarified. And better textures, the yellow strikes doesn't really fit in. RE: Geb Model (Poll) - Jeremy Hunter - 06-14-2016 I enjoy first one, but I prefer the under dome to be made into something else. Sensor array or something. RE: Geb Model (Poll) - Mercarryn - 06-14-2016 Definetely version 1. Fits the Geb`s lore of being a modified Osiris. Front to mid-section are well done, only the yellow stripes are bit too much. Perhaps some smaller ones might do it. The bridge could perhaps be put a bit more in the middle, but you can also leave it like that, this is just a minor issue I have with version 1. RE: Geb Model (Poll) - TheFreelancer - 06-14-2016 Option A looks epic imo, and it fits the line better than the current Geb! RE: Geb Model (Poll) - SnakeLancerHaven - 06-14-2016 Lol I just noticed the first model looks a little like the Coalition "Tempest" Carrier xddd RE: Geb Model (Poll) - Thunderer - 06-16-2016 A looks nice, but also like a resized Resheph. B is both unique and looks nice. It doesn't look like the Kushan destroyer if I don't make an effort. I voted for it. I think that the engines need different textures. It's hard to replicate Osiris engines, but you can model them after those of the LAC. |
