Thanks for the suggestions. I'll probably get around doing a comedy video at some point.
Also, how do you feel about music/atmospheric videos?
I don't mean those that just play Linking Park ontop of a pvp battle. More like when the music is "in sync" with the action/atmosphere on the video.
Kind of like this one. Well, not really. But still.

Exploration videos are always fine, but can be very lame if you spend too much time in the same sector. Repetitive ingame music and such, always the same background. I partially sleep to my own recordings, when I fly through the Outer Rim, with both Omicrons and Omega's soundtracks plus ambient (nebulae + Asteroid fields). However, you usually don't want people to sleep to your videos.

The video was okay but I think the audio was a lil bit too loud.
Also you could use Homeworld 1 & 2 OSTs, they're more grim and dark than Freelancer. Perfect for what you're trying to do.

I also suggest the Unreal Tournament Soundtracks, be it UTX, 2003 or 2004. Very fitting for Freelancer, I find.

Some songs from KOTOR are also good, such as Hrakert Station, or Jek'Jek Tarr from KOTOR 2. Again, most of these are upbeat, action based.

No love for Ground Control II's OST here? I'm a little put out, honestly. Someone already mentioned the Homeworld 1 & 2 OSTs, so I can only add to that recommendation - but Oni's OST has some stellar background/action tracks buried in its soundtrack as well.
edit: lol this isn't an ost thread? Oops - use them in videos anyway though
