I checked I am really near China but 600 ping , 80% lagg, 64 % loss and 42 Fluct while on official GC server it's around 180-200 ping , 0 % lagg 0 % loss and 2 Fluct
Thats because of the GREAT FIREWALL. Heck to use Google in China you need to use proxy. For some reason instagram was banned a few weeks my friend went there.

I live in Virginia (East Coast USA) in the rural mountains about 80 miles (148 km) west of Washington, DC. I got 155 PING this morning on the French server. GC Server has 125 PING right now. A few months ago, when the Latin American server (which is in Argentina) was running an up-to-date version, I tried to connect at 190-200 PING, but I couldn't log onto any of my characters. The Chinese server is giving me 386 PING right now -- I won't even try to log on with such high PING, because I know that Freelancer is unplayable with 250+ PING.

My connection to Disco GC is 300 ping min and I can play just fine. When I was on the Chinese server I had 400+ ping and 10% lag still able to win the fights over there so interpret that however you like.

It must be your country's firewall. I bet it is scanning my connection as probably your country is suspicious of my country since its closebye
