I'd say number 1, except I don't like how the character's face is on there twice. Its on the left side and then enlarged in the middle.. Need to take the one out from the middle and leave it blank or replace it with something else.

3 is very original I agree. I love 2 because it feels somewhat more japanese (the traditional white, and gate, very interesting). only thing, maple leafs are a bit wtf.
