The verdict of this event was that it was ''good enough'' albeit there will no doubt be small adjustments in the next one - especially regarding the size of the ships (trade ships) going through the jumphole. The glitch that causes the hole exits to drift apart has also been pinned down and should be fixed by the next such event - remember to send lots of beer to @Alley for that though. Expect more of these one-use Forum-RP-Activated commodities in the nearby future.

Events like that need some incentive for the opposing force to log.
This event - unlike the OC-Bretonia one - had seemingly no determined opposing force that was trying to make it harder for traders to just make their 1 billion / day.

I can't think of an incentive that would make people go "Ok, I'll not make a quick few hundred mills, but log an opfor ship to actually make trading tense and interesting", but that's what this type of event needs.
