As for smugglers, as long as you can spam CDs between typing, you should be fine. If you're serious about pirating or policing a border, this should be second nature already. Even then they lose a lot of energy. Set messages are damn helpful, particularly when dealing with farmers or intruders. PoB are fun...sometimes but they kill to much time with keeping it stocked and with that takes players time to interact with other players properly. Going off subject a little PoB should be replaced with static bases implemented from very well planned out RP. But that's just my opinion.
