Since you are a Zoner I'll promote the Taiidan as well.
I also fly a Civ. Bomber as well.
I like them both for their powerplant but GMG is fine with Zoners flying our Taiidan ships.
I'm not a big fan of seeing others who aren't our allies flying the ships made exclusively by GMG.
GMG has done some joint efforts with other ships and we wouldn't have as much control on them but the Taiidan line is made from the alien wrecks our exploring teams have found and they are built exclusively by GMG. The bombers in particular is the symbolic ship that broke the Rheinland Fleet's back in the 80 year war.
GMG lost half it's number during that time and would have consolidated the rest as they rebuilt.

I know that the bugs are manageable, but not only are they there, the model is quite unsightly, not to mention a massive target.
On top of that, the Taiidan fits great with Zoner RP too. Also, note he wanted to know what would be good against Nomad cap NPCs, and the civvy would not be as good as the Taiidan.
Do you simply wish to argue with my suggestions?

No, I am simply asking you not to make drastic assumptions without trying the ship first. I do think that from the post you made, saying that the bomber is horrible, you have never really flown it.
I can tell you right now that the Civilian Bomber's bugs are nothing but minor, and that it is a fine bomber. It's better than the Thor (hands down), and I do think it is better than a couple more bombers. I also do think it would fit the Zoner RP better than a GMG ship.

Apologies if I did not write up an extensive review of both ship's pros and cons. I never said the bomber was horrible, I said it has bugs, which it does, and I have heard time and time again that are troublesome, that it is a bit ugly, and that it is large. Not to mention I believe it has an oversized hitbox.
The OP also asked what would be better against Nomad cap NPCs, and I offered my opinion on what fit within RP, and would do the job. Both very well might accomplish both levels, I simply think the Taiidan is a better choice in my opinion.
Is there a problem with me offering my opinion (which I seldom do these days), or do you wish to continue to tear apart my posts?

Regardless of faction, the Taiidan is by far the best in my opinion. I almost solo'd a nomie BS patrol in Kappa. I got the BS down to 3/4 health, until another showed up. >_<
Both are getting a model change and the clvi bomber is getting a fix. So keep your options open.

Tear apart your posts? Not quite, Orin, but I find it a bit insulting that you say that the Civvy Bomber is "messed up" and imply in that statement that it is unusable/completely crappy before trying it. Simply, I was arguing a point that it wasn't useless and that it fits the RP as well, and better fits the RP, in my opinion. No need to take offense, sir.

That civilian handles like a cruiser... Its currently unbalanced ship if you ask me - its way too bad, you can RP with it, but, for sure, you cant fight with it.

I never took offense, either. Both ships are usable, I simply think the Taiidan is the better choice. He asked for a suggestion as to which, I gave him one.
