RE: What about the Exiles? - Shelco - 12-04-2016 My fingers are tickling me to revive it but it's way harder than to make some Xenos...the easiest way would be to just take the {343} and say 'Hey, we're back'

I think it's a story dev mistake here. External conflict would be a better idea, have a hope that house which is currently on lifesupport will be able to generate activity within itself was very naive. Kusari isn't dead and things are being discussed the whole time with devs. It is at us, the few kusari players, and the devs to fix Kusari as a whole and we are already at it. Don't worry. RE: What about the Exiles? - jim-drover - 12-04-2016 Just made an samura char yesterday. Gonna make an other soon ^_^ at least they can get pretty safe trough gallia turf *hint* RE: What about the Exiles? - Engel - 12-04-2016 (12-04-2016, 03:16 PM)Werdackel| Wrote:(12-04-2016, 03:13 PM)Engel Wrote:(12-04-2016, 03:10 PM)Werdackel| Wrote:(12-04-2016, 03:07 PM)Engel Wrote: Whole Exile concept is wasted by now. Kusari was more active before civil war and updates, I've heard exactly the same things. Believe in what you want to believe, I guess. RE: What about the Exiles? - Emperor Tekagi - 12-04-2016 It was more active, right. Back then we had a general higher playercount too. Anyways, it is being worked on and that is all that matters. RE: What about the Exiles? - Engel - 12-04-2016 For the last 2 years playercount on the server have increased, actually. Just not in Kusari, reasons are already have been mentioned above. RE: What about the Exiles? - Emperor Tekagi - 12-04-2016 There are far more reasons for it. Reasons which involve the starter system, etc. etc. etc. Yet things develop/get fixed slowly which is honestly ridiculous. An Id fix, and someone with a plan for using it. (12-04-2016, 03:11 PM)eigos Wrote: Let the Exiles run like a small praefecture. Just like in medieval Japan. A newly discovered system, with one abundant resource. That should generate activity. Exiles have practically a "prefecture" to occupy inrp, it's tottori. As bad as it is for the Exiles, they are doing better than the Dragons - who were pretty much left out of the 4.86/4.87 story. There are however, two fundamental strains of Kusari story material that go all the way back to Vanilla: The traditional versus the modern Kusari. From conservatives complaining about the youth of New Tokyo, to the Samura/Kishiro rivalry. In cultural terms, freelancer is chock full of World War 2 allegories, and I can see a contrast between pre-WW2 Imperialist Japan and post-WW2 Democratic Japan. Of course, if we follow that WW2 allegory to its logical conclusion - perhaps Kusari had not been defeated hard enough by Gallia to warrant such an overwhelming change...Roll it all back to pre-Gallia I say! #joking #notjoking |
