To me it seems that he want the Kusari Destroyer to assist Traders for being pirated but I am sorry to infom you that most of the pirates in Sigma-13 are mostly in Bombers and Gunboats easy to take out destroyers and will not help in the end this will not help the Power Traders. In the end its going to cost you more then just let the pirating happen.
Also the GMG turns a blind eye to GC and Blood Dragon piracy in Sigma-13 the only ones the GMG do not like are outcasts which if the GMG and outcast are in a fight the Blood Dragons stay out of the fight. So in closing its not really worth spending the credits defending against piracy that GMG turn their eyes away from.

Considering the fact KNF hands destroyers only to HIGH ranking officers of their own ... No, it is not roleplay.
EDIT: KNF and GMG are friends... but behind the scenes... GMG pisses Kusari at a few points - "secret" pact with BD and GC is the best example... Simply told... they are not so great friends to share their personal things.
I would consider some other choice... Zoner...is not ideal...but surely better. Or even Talarca... that may be the best choice.

No. Not ever.
GMG don't count themselves as Kusari anymore, except when it's favorable to them. There is a fine line in Kusari between the KNF and their associates, one that Zelot, Pipboy, and myself have attempted to preserve admirably and have done so very well by not using KNF ships, even when some of us (Namely, me) have the RP ties to use KNF ships.
Quite bluntly, the GMG doesn't have those ties anymore, and if they want to use a capital ship, they should use the Explorer or the Talarca.

Kusari Naval Warships are built by Samura. Samura and the GMG do not like each other.
If you read some infocards around honshu, you'll also see that the Kusari government is becoming less and less supportive of the GMG, they're no longer viewing them as part of kusari but as 'gaijin' / foreigners.
I dont think there's any way a GMG crew would be able to get their hands on a kusari warship.

My opinion is no, as thye GMG seem to be drifting away from jusari culturally and politically. It would raise alot of eyebrows. With the GMG being in a bit of a slap fight with Samura which is technically a tight kusari faction it doubt the kusari would be willing to sell a war cruiser to a third party any more than if they were firendlier.

Yes they can have our destroyer if KNF high command aprove their aplication about purchasing one of our ships... I didnt heard about single aproved indie (non-knf) destroyer from date when I joined KNF.

Well to be sure, the OP should be aware that there is an actual GMG faction - the Guild Masters use Gunboats as their 'flagships' - I have never seen them myself.
If you want to be an indy GMG, I dont care, I should think that the Talarca would be the best choice. The Zoner destroyer has a big blind spot to its rear - a place where enemy gunboats are going to sit and blast you. I should know because I used to fly one in the previous incarnation of the GMG! Enemy gunboats are often found in groups - a single Destroyer wont stand up to that but a bomber can still fight or run.
If you want greater success in fighting pirates in Sigma-13 - join the GMG faction and fly a Taaidan Bomber. You will have Guild brothers to fight alongside you!
Or you could be another Bounty Hunter cap-whore (as long as you stay clear of Naha I dont care).

As Blodo said, the GMG never has and never will fly capital ships. GBs are pushing it.
Explorer, Zoner GB, IMG GB. Anything else is bad form.
