I ate it. The trunk-like appendage of the incubus was more firm than expected, but the body was pretty sweet and juicy. The fleshy tendrils of the lower part of the body were tickling on the tongue. You may know those are loose nerve ends, they always taste delicious.
I'd always take another incubus into my mouth.
