Like, there is planty of rumors about some system, base or planet that Rheinland, Kusari, independant trader or some deserter from oposite side may sell to Galic forces, next logical step any military organization will take after hearing rumors about something is exactly detail reconosense Smile

Yes well, the system is barely known due to it lacking redeeming qualities there, beyond the Junker station. I severely doubt Rheinlanders or Kusarians go there, and I wish I could have a mysterious Freelancer tip me off with information with everything ever - especially without backed up evidence of interaction.

But whatever.

Did you watch "Rouge One", all it needed was one Empire pilot to desert so that most guarded secret of Empire become known to rebels, wheter leaders want to investigate every rumor they hear or not is mater of resources or resolve.
Another example is from "Empire strikes back", all what Darth Vader needed was scout droid/drone report of isolated base and fact that scout was destroyed.
You have planty of RL examples to, like Bush hear rumors of Irak will have Nuclear weapons soon, that was enough reason/excuse for invasion, altough he obviusly dint use detail scout, so it was turn out later, rumors were false.
Rumors can be more powerful than secret weapon if used right, they are often used to shift enemy forces from place were you will atack. What better example you need than Operation Overlord (D-day), Hitler was convinced for 7 WEEKS that attack on Normandy was diversion thanks to good rumor about landing will be in Calais (Operation Bodyguard), which had consequences that German 15th army remain station in Calais all that time instead been sent to reinforce troops in Normandy.
Even this Operation here, has rumor part involved, probably inspired by examples like D-day. Smile

Kane awakens from his slumber

So you're hitting NL as a distraction?

Can i enlist the CLN-Lionne?
If not just enlist the BAF|A-HMS-Conclusive

Kane returns to his slumber

Edit:
If part 2 is after part one, would i be able to enlist anything for part one?

Part 1 and 2 will be happening at the same time.

inRP we dont want to be ganked by colonial fleets so a distraction is needed to draw forces away from the systems we are going to survey. So a frontal assault on New London will be staged.

This is the GRN being sneaky and yes you can bring CLN Lionne

Even if im not sure how in the sirius can grn know about coronado and inverness, could be a fun event if limited to cortez instead of coronado. And magellan instead of inverness. Rest seems fine. Also grn doesnt have zoi in coronado so its a bit pointless. I would like some dev input here.

you're comparing government secrets to a mostly worthless location. (and, by extent, slight metagaming since no one brought forth the info inrp).

people tend to react more positively to leaked government info - that being coronado more-so than inverness. but whatever, no need to post anymore about it.

@Auzari, coronado kept a secret towards GRN and i dont see how they can suddenly know about it. From last i know grn being in coronado was considered an oorp move by previous leadership of grn as it has been tried by an ONI player
