This doesn't mean Mollies cannot ally with the BAF when fighting Corsairs. It doesn't say anywhere they can't ally with the BAF when fighting Corsairs. It says they can ally with lawfuls when fighting Corsairs. The BAF are lawfuls. It does also say they can ally with other lawfuls when fighting the BAF, but it doesn't say they cannot ally with the BAF when fighting Corsairs. It says they can ally with other lawfuls when fighting the BAF.
The rules should care about what you say, not about what you mean. If it is not so, then they are too open for interpretation.
Thanks for the evidence by the way, another time. I see that the reporter(s) thought that someone had broken the rules. I just don't know why they hadn't informed the violators about that, but proceeded to report immediately. If the violators knew they were breaking the rules, they would comply and ungroup. Would have been much easier for everyone.
The Molly ID wouldn't be fixed, though. It will be now, right?

There is currently a discussion in the OFL chat on how to prevent this sort of issues from happening. It will either result in the modification of the ID or other alterations altogether.
