It is very easy to create an independent nomad in case people didn't know.
The restart fcNomad will set you right up and all you gotta do is pick a ship and equip as usual.
The gate in the middle of Iota will bring you right to the action.

There's propably some problem with the Jumphole - it says my ID is OK, but won't let my ship through - perhaps a liner is too big an issue?
