If I'm at war with you, and, in my case, my character utterly despises Zoners... Why wouldn't I slap the life out of you given the opportunity?

My character doesn't want to be "friends" with Zoners, she wants to kill them. A lot. She likes it. It makes her hot.

Another question I have, when I bought that civilian explorer the base I bought it on had no weapons for it, so I flew it around for over an hour trying to find weapons on a Zoner base, and finally ended up bribing to buy gunboat weapons from another faction (and screwing up my neutrality in the process)

Can some developer make sure that weapons are there to support ship purchases?

Why support one sided, surprise PvP on the server?

Shouldn't a fight be somewhat fair? What's the fun for an established player with a fully loaded ship in blowing up someone who has no chance to fight or run?

It takes tens, even hundreds of hours of play to afford fully loaded ships, how is the server being helped by this sort of play on new people trying to get the ship they want?

And if there is a Zoner-Core war, why isn't it in the ID's? Why doesn't equipping a Zoner ID make the Core red? Why are Core still on Zoner bases and Core bribes offered there? And after a year, why aren't the ships more evenly matched? Zoners in a war would make more combat focused ships, wouldn't they?

As a question, can a Zoner ID fly Order equipment and weapons, since I assume the Order and the Zoners are at war together against the core.

Here are the results of playerbased storydevelopment and how much lore developers care about it to make a little bit of impact to properly implement all the things ingame

tl;dr - if you want to go for a capital ship, I suggest to start from Liberty Capitals. If you're interested in both Zoners and Omicrons - stick to freeports and snubcraft vessels, or else the Core won't give your a break.

Just to check, you've tried the following bases: Freeport 11 in Omicron Delta, Corinth in Kappa, Livadia in Kappa?

Note about Livadia, it should sell Zoner equipment, but it requires Zoner Guard rep.

If you have a Corvo, you probably aren't /that/ new.

I'm not upset, I am annoyed. At the very least, if there is a war between Zoners and Core, anyone who mounts a Zoner ID should be made aware of it in some other way than a Core tagged player jumping your gunboat in their Cruiser while you are in the middle of a mission against Nomads.
I saw the guy coming, but as he showed neutral in the HUD and didn't declare hostile until within gun range. I had no reason to run away, which, in RP, I would have if an enemy who I was no match for approached.

At the very least, remove the Core from the Zoner base, remove the Core bribes from the Zoner base, remove the Core missions, and make the Core hostile with a Zoner ID, so that the game supports this war.

I bought it on Corfu Base, no gunboat weapons there, but there should be since they sell the boat there. I tried Freeport 11, no luck, then I went to those bases in Omega-49. I flew through Kappa but didn't know the bases there.

There are supposed to be capital guns sold on Corfu and Freeport 6 with lower rep requirements for Corvos and Bustards but for some reason that did not get released properly. It will be fixed in the next version.

New enough not to know about the Zoner/Core war. I've been playing this server for less than two weeks. Enough for a couple hundred million, but far from being able to mount the armor that gives longer playing people their edge.

Thanks, as it is now I am going to scrap this particular character anyway, no sense throwing good time and credits after bad. It was very annoying to purchase the gunboat, only to go on a long weapons hunt, and after all that find that I have no interest in just being fodder for players with a Core ID and a cruiser. Back to trading to remake the lost credits, and trying to figure out what character concept I want to play that will fit in the rather convoluted restrictions and offer me some protection from the established players who just want a quick cheap kill.
