Can you give me more information about your dropship? Will it replace the Serenity? Will it be an alternative to the Serenity? Will it be a carrier? Will it be available to everyone? Why does my faction (faction x) not get anything? Why is this not the ship class I demanded (class x), does it have eight guns?

None of those details have been decided at this time; no ships will be replaced. We want to give you more to play with, not more of the same in different flavors.

That's encouraging to hear. I didn't know more ships will be added. Hopefully bretonia BC and bret carrier remodel have a chance of happening
