The trade off for having it would be very light weapons load out, 6-8 turrets, but *only* light turrets, no ability to mount hull upgrades, but can fit battleship grade shield. Power plant that is *just* big enough to power the whole lot, but NOT provide sustained fire from turrets. :p Could be worth a giggle.
