RE: Analysis: Xeno Guns - Kyoi - 03-29-2018 700m/s is enough to make people switch to suntigers. There is only 1human 700 4.00 in the game and its not efficient. 650/8.33 photon is okay I guess. High refire particles are not good for shield meta. RE: Analysis: Xeno Guns - Sand-Viper - 03-29-2018 I think Evo is referring to making Black Widows 700m/s again, in addition to changing the type of gun a Suntiger is. I was just hoping to give Suntigers some love, but I'm sure Xenos would love to be able to use Black Widows over Legion guns, again. I feel like, even when fighting a Xeno, it's just not the same as when they're using Legion tech when they ought to be using their own killer black and red guns. Edit: Maybe a 8.33/650m/s gun would be good as a Neutron/Tachyon? I just think it's weird that all 8.33s are anti-positron and 750m/s. RE: Analysis: Xeno Guns - Evo - 03-29-2018 I'm not bent over changing Widows since they're not in a bad spot, mainly looking for suntigers to have a use other than "but you can mix them for managing energy" which I've literally never seen anybody doing and isn't even necessary anymore due to Widow changes. It's effectively a relic from when nobody used class 8 guns that should be changed. I'm not picky on what's done with it, so long as something is done with it. RE: Analysis: Xeno Guns - Reeves - 03-29-2018 Option 2 and 4 looks nice. I'm against giving the Xenos 8.33 because they can just use the Legion's Retributions for that. And the only reason I'm still supporting option 4 despite that is the fact that it fits the Xeno attitude, they make hard hitting, flashy weaponry, though they aren't necessarily the most energy efficient or fastest velocity wise. I'd personally suggest sticking with the plasma damage type. RE: Analysis: Xeno Guns - Traxit - 03-29-2018 I would very much like to see option 4 in the game. Although they should be Photon/Laser as to not make them too powerful versus the meta that is Graviton shields. RE: Analysis: Xeno Guns - Major. - 03-29-2018 Don't change my black widows... I love them, there is no need to change them... They are really good and you honestly only need like 2-3 pews to get good gesults with them. Ultimately, the weapon type and final stats for a Suntiger revamp is up to the Balance Team. However, having an 8.33 that shakes up the 750m/s Laser meta is definitely a nifty prospect. I figured, what better a faction to have a high damage, low efficiency, unique weapon than one who usually ends up facing superior numbers and firepower? Pending the success of this discussion, I wouldn't mind setting up another thread analyzing other factional weapons that could use some love, if there exist any. RE: Analysis: Xeno Guns - Antonio - 03-31-2018 Suntigers will most likely be changed as having 2 identical weapons (650ms 4.00s) is redundant. It's not decided in what way yet but looking at combined Xenos and HF weapons the only thing both factions don't have is 3.03s and 6.67s, so they'll likely become one of the two. My choice'd be 6.67s because 3.03 is still close to 4.00. |
