RE: Shorten givecash / ask cash - Implosion - 04-19-2018 That actually sounds pretty neat. Reminds me of the NPCs demanding cargo. It would do miracles for pirates and mercs. TIL givecasht is a thing - and I like these! (04-19-2018, 06:43 PM)OldMiner Wrote: Disagree that pirates are granted a shortcut to beg for credits. Cuts out the player dialogue and interaction. Similar feels. Also, how would a pirate correct a mistake or how long would it take for him to be able to use this on the same targets are questions that pop in mind. I also see the possibility of some people just "holding on" to "friendly" /pay requests to block new ones. On the other hand, people with low rp tendencies would have one less excuse to make no requests - while people with more rp tendencies would have one more excuse not to. I think it's relatively new and wasn't widely announced RE: Shorten givecash / ask cash - SnakThree - 04-20-2018 (04-19-2018, 09:03 PM)OldMiner Wrote: But that is just it. Very few do not RP before firing. Often they fire missiles first before the RP. Some say it is just to attract your attention but being crippled by fire does not give the trader/miner much room left to negotiate. This seems like exaggeration and judgment on whole group based on meeting a couple of new and inexperienced pirates, who most likely can't converse in English well. I have met a dozen of great pirates on my trade ship. I have met a dozen of great traders on pirate ship. Few bad people don't make everything bad. And if you think so, well, you should be more open minded and more considerate. RE: Shorten givecash / ask cash - Alex. - 05-15-2018 This is done now, /gc, /gct, /drc, /shc. |
