"I'll make sure to get a medical done, though I'm not sure I can warrant myself taking three days - not with the current circumstances." She reached forward, flicking off the projector
"Was there anything else Admiral? Before I return to duties."

Yes actually. Your records show a peculiar interest in a Mister James Piett. I don't know what your relationship with this man is but I should tell you, he hasn't been seen or heard from in quite some time. If he was someone special, it..may be time for you to begin to mourn him. Steiner's features softened for a moment, before resuming their regular, typically Rheinlandic sternness. As she stood up she forced a smile. "Thank you.. Admiral."
She had lost yet another loved one to this incredibly costly war. Brooks looked once more into the Admiral's eyes, maybe the future could be brighter. The thought quickly deserted her mind as she gave a sharp salute.
She walked briskly out of the room, past the guards and towards her shuttle which would take her to HMS Ark Royal.
