lol... Every fighter battle I try in my fighters (past) it lagged so bad i waited in the middle of the battle not moving waiting for someone to supernova me.

It can be problematic, like the fight earlier when the server was near full. On the other hand, it's fun with lots of people. Is 20-30 characters less going to make a major difference though? I think today is the only time I've noted a problem with lag at a time with a lot of players on.

I don't see that much of a difference between lagg levels as the number of people increases, you only start to get laggspikes over 100 players

I remember Korrd(Atleast I think) said that when people use third-party mods it causes server instability... which equals to crashes.

And for the longest time we went without a crash for ages til about a day ago, Me thinks its just somebody hacking.

Good chances to pursue pure non-combat (not about to say RPing because it makes no sense) situations, I'd say.

Well, this has been rejected a few times and I think it'll stay so, but I'll say it anyways.

There is an option which would decrease the number of players (mostly those ooRP not coming to the forums). Make a password for entrance to server. Everyone would have to look on forums to find it and lets say it would change every now and then. It -would- reduce the numbers, there's a lot of people on server who haven't even taken a look on the forums.

Just think again - it would reduce numbers and even better - those gone would be major lolwuters.

Though admins have said no many times, and I doubt they will allow it now.

The lag destroys me all the time in PvP these days. It really annoys me.

Is it possible to get another server? Say, Discovery Server 2? I mean, we will have to when 4.85 comes out.

Would reducing the numbers of NPCs reduce the overall server lag? In my situation, players don't lag my connection up (unless there's a big furball)...

...But npcs. Wow. Doing missions on my Core characters renders the ping command useless. I usually sit there watching the Corsair npcs zoom 2000k away then come back and I'm dead.

Its okay where it is in my opinion.
We never go over say 150 during weekdays its only weekends its busy. Weekends we cap. About 3 hours ago we were at 194/200.
If we decrease the limit wait times will be horrible and switching FAM accounts will result in you waiting.

The lag only occurs when their is a big fight going on or a ton of NPCs.

I'm mystified as to why you lag. I'm West Coast US and rarely get lag.

I vote leave working servers lie.
