I know how piracy works and have profited off it to the point where I never solo oretrade. RE: Harmony Official ID Perk - Sciamach - 07-31-2018 Keep in mind: I'm assuming you're basing this off of people mining Mil-Salv in Bering Bering gets a lot more traffic than somewhere like Omicron Beta does so, that may be where this disparity comes in. That and timezones. It's just not as profitable as trading. You both are arguing over different understanding of what profit is, apparently. "Can engage every ship within ZoI, excluding transports" coupled with "Can demand credits or cargo from any ship within ZoI" gives you a lot of RP freedom and allows you to to whatever you want with the "laws" you're trying to enforce, which is why every unlawful having their own laws ID lines is unnecessary. Now we should remove all other unlawfuls' law posts. Taking the line away from every unlawful would make as much sense as giving it to every unlawful. Pirates are pirates, terrorists are terrorists, revolutionaries are revolutionaries. For some it makes more sense to have their own set of laws than for others, especially revolutionaries make good use of them when supporting their counter-government.
Lawfulness and unlawfulness is an overly static and not too representative classification system either way, mainly for gameplay/ruleplay purposes. InRP it is more often than not just a matter of perspective. RE: Harmony Official ID Perk - SnakThree - 08-02-2018 What is revolution though? Harmony and Hellfire are simply anti-LN. You can fluff it as much as you want from inside but those are just terrorists if they are heading over to actively invade Liberty with intention to shoot lawful grunts. I won't even start how improbable their power creep is represented in-game Even Xenos sound better since they don't want to engage Libertonians. Bundles might be one of few proper revolution-centeres criminals that attempt to do stuff as peaceful as possible. RE: Harmony Official ID Perk - Enkidu - 08-02-2018 There's also crossovers. Like how Unioners are Terrorists-mobsters, or how Rogues are Smuggler-pirates, or how GC are Smuggler-Terrorists. You can fluff it as much as you want from inside but those are just terrorists if they are heading over to actively invade Liberty with intention to shoot lawful grunts. That sounds quite like what a biased, loyal lawful of Liberty would think about Harmony and Hellfire, pretty similar to how Gallic Royalists see the Council, but then oorply I also know how things look on the other side. Your opinion would be nice and cool inRP, but this is an ooRp discussion about rules and ID lines, and I'd prefer if you'd consider providing objective points instead.
Besides, as far as I know Hellfire is more anti-govt than anti-LN, maybe Harmony too, but I leave these to Durandal and Skorak to confirm, deny and/or specify. |
