Afraid not, for the last nearly 7 years I have played in Gallia, they have been left hand drive. Now they are right hand drive and old habits die hard.

That's odd... They didn't cause this issue in Gallia. I'd say work on finding out what caused the problem, and fix it, or remake them. They made docking tradelanes with large ships so much easier!
But, of course, keep the old ones in the meantime. The new lanes aren't worth crashing the server for.
