I didn't feel it was necessary since this is a mere discussion. Ultimately you'd review this if it ever went anywhere. Oftentimes I've observed you're busy, so I prefer to not disturb you. Regardless, the thread is here completely open and I knew you would take a look at it one way or another.

I voted yes, but nothing will happen with that model without @Durandal's consent. You need to acquire that.

I have spoken to @Durandal and he has no problems with it save for the militaristic theme of the design. I'm not going to divulge the logs of the DMs, but it's likely that either this model will be tweaked and implemented to save time and to not let a good model go to waste, or something else will be implemented instead.

Just give it something like the civilian ship skin (eagle/roc), I like the style though, looks like a much more aggressive guardian. Does it have retracting wing animations?

To me it looks like an older fighter model than the guardian.

I like the ship model, and I agree that the Xenos need a ship by now. This model might be a bit inappropriate for them, as it reminds me of the Guardian -- however, the Xenos didn't design their ships yet; they used a specific civilian line of ships. So, we don't really know yet what their ships would look like, if they built them. This model could be made to work for them.
They need the starflea brought back. The Starblazer has been turned into a superslow HF; they need a Starflier or Startracker brought back as an LF, and they could use a VHF alternative.
