maybe, or see if it is using a standard Micro$oft version right now. That will probably have the best shot at being compatible I would think.

My mouse wheel by default was set to increase/decrease throttle by scrolling the mouse wheel. Sure it doesn't say that in the control options, but it works when I do it in game. Nor can I set my scroll mouse wheel to any other function. Try is in game and if it doesn't work, try reinstalling freelancer.

You're welcome. You'd be surprised what some people still don't know about Freelancers' controls, particularly the hidden ones. I had to explain to someone recently that pressing Esc cancels cruise.
