RE: Freelancer running with Intel HD Graphics 630 instead of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 - Strichev - 06-17-2019 I had the same issue, couldn't fix it and just gave up. Now I just boot Windows 8.1 for Freelancer. It works fine like that. RE: Freelancer running with Intel HD Graphics 630 instead of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 - Teknishun - 11-26-2019 First of all sorry for necro posting on my old thread. I bought an old machine from a friend and I'm back playing Freelancer on Discovery! Although Im happy to be back I wish I could solve this issue for labtop users... I will attempt to find a fix a keep you guys posted if I find anything relevant. So far Im looking for a way to completely disable the intel GPU so everything runs on the GTX 1050. Seems like the best way to do this since Im afraid a warper (like glide) or an .ini fix would trigger the anti cheat. Also I couldn't find any launch argument for Freelancer.exe to run off a specific GPU. (Exemple: -w for windowed mode). And since the bans are IP-Ban I won't try anything that could risk my account to be banned. I'll keep you guys posted. Fly safe! RE: Freelancer running with Intel HD Graphics 630 instead of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 - Teknishun - 11-26-2019 I FOUND A FIX ! First go to your START menu, Type Control Panel (even on windows 10 because you want the old school panel) Go to Device Manager Select Intel Graphic card (Or your integrated Graphic card) Select Disable A prompt will ask you if you are sure click YES Your screen should turn dark for about a second and your resolution will change. You are now running off your Nvidia or AMD card Reset your resolution to what you like. And enjoy Freelancer on Gaming Notebook / Labtop |
