inRP my Maltese char sees Velvet's claims comparable to some low gangsters trying to face a well established Mafia. Furthermore some crazy claims of taking over, where Malta with its amount of funds, resources and skill will simply wipe it's waste hole with them.
EDIT: On the other side. Zoners make a good buck by working as a neutral tradehub in a space controlled by Maltese.

Doesn't stop it coming across as stupid, terrible RP and just adding nothing, considering you weren't adding anything to it, other than trying to be a joker, and failing miserably.
I miss the days when the Maltese were just a load of warlords vying for power, and actually made sense, instead of being some generic wannabe house.
Also, you think that Velvet is exclusively Zoners, when I keep on clarifying both iRP and ooRP we are a lot more than Zoners. Baring in mind, form an iRP stance, we've been fighting alongside Core and Order and been the reason for them being able to topple the Nomad influences in the Delta system and even beyond.
I think the Outcast players need to get off their high horses and quit their little circlejerk they got going on. It's dull, uninteresting and is bringing nothing other than more ego to the game.

The research institue part in the name of their faction probably means nothing as all they do so far is:
Use Darling in the Franxx images to represent Corisica's interior looks, and are trying their best to play something average between military intelligence and actual military force inspired by the current spree of Maltese forming a state of slavers and drug dealers, ultimately trying into geopolitics.
That idea is silly and detrimental to the community as much as the idea of a faction led by a person that learned some honeyed words, but in the essence remained the same person that happened to roleplay a fully automated Ranseur without any serious RP support.
