Snubs are overpowered as a cloud vs caps, but in smaller numbers this isn't true, and actually when matched 1:1 caps jumping into snub fights could be seen as OP, although I loathe using that as the terminology to describe it. RE: [Poll] Caps & Snubs - ~Chio - 07-16-2019 Since I was only flying capital ships and learning something new everytime I fight, I don't think there are any overpowered capital ship nor that capital ships are overpowering snubs. I actually saw few times a lone bomber fighting a battleship and being successful. So I don't think capital ships are overpowering snubs. (that was about battleships) Now, I will use this chance to say something about full solaris cruisers. See, I was participating in fight in my bomber fighting full solaris CAU 8 cruisers and there were three bombers against him. Three experienced bombers. I don't think if I should count myself as an experienced bomber, but other two that were with be surely are a lot better than me in them, so I would rather put myself in a 'normal' not experienced category, compared to other two who I would for sure count in experience category, and both of them are very good at snub pvp. Considering that fact, it was still VERY HARD to destroy that cruiser. Why? I think that cruiser solaris turrets have a long long range, like it was hitting me from 1.3k even though its range is like what, 1.1k? I still think cruiser solaris turrets are overpowered for that reason, the range is too long and it should be ceased at least a bit. Fighting a full solaris cau8 cruiser who knows to TS and shoot bombers as it should, is very hard to destroy in even three bombers. If you don't believe me, you should try to face so. Now you might ask, why don't you just bring in more bombers? That's not 'right' solution for this situation, TWO EXPERIENCED bombers and one 'normal' bomber should destroy a full solaris cruiser with less problems. Range that turret has, it like simply just too much for a solaris turret. Of course it still should create a challenge for three bombers, but this is just too much. In the end we still managed to destroy it, but it was too hard while having two experienced bombers with myself. All three of us got out barely alive. I will test few cruisers because I think their hitbox is broken and make a proper discussion about it, for now I would like to blame the solaris turrets

RE: [Poll] Caps & Snubs - Hemlocke - 07-16-2019 I am of the personal opinion that the only "overpowered" ship class in the game is a full Zapper CAU8 Percheron. Okay memes aside the only ship class I find "overpowered" is the gunboat class, fast enough and heavily armored enough to seriously mess up caps if there's at least 2 and strong enough to tear apart fighters that are average at their class, the two obvious monsters of the gunboat class are the Defiant and U-boat. I personally own a couple U-boats. Do something about that weird ass hit box. After the nerfs they made to bombers I don't feel those are overpowered anymore, and capitals are slow and bulky, the only thing that makes them strong is the stats. There's a video somewhere about a bunch of snubs absolutely going to town on a Dunkirk in New London and murdering it. That's the way it should be, this is a dogfight style game and there isn't a whole lot of "dog-fighting" in a battleship/carrier class specificaly, just a whole lot of wobbling like a fat penguin. while the dog-fight aspect still remains somewhat true to Cruisers and Gunboats. There's a popular opinion that SHFs are busted, but again that comes down to stats (what armor you put on it) and bulk. I personally fly a "Werewolf" which is a bulky SHF with weird missile/torp slots and arcs (can only fire 4/6 guns sideways) It's a pretty balanced ship, especially considered to something with a broken hitbox like the Plier, or the insane power of the Mjolnir or OSC Shuttle. Opinion = What the f*ck are gunboats? Side Note: Why is the Lynx so damn hard to hit. (Templar should burn) RE: [Poll] Caps & Snubs - Omicron - 07-16-2019 They work mostly as intended in my opinion, besides fact that battlecruiser change was pointless and changed nothing in the longrun. Maybe give bombers ability to use 4-5 non-codename fighter weapons. The solution is simple, capital ships shouldn't be able to touch snubs and vice versa.
