Tic the same could be said for any group here. I have been ganked by 5 redcats while I was flying an eagle. It happens. How many ships do you think would come after a lone KNF, KSP or AFA who treaded into Chugoku? You come for someone's capital, dont expect them to be nice about. I have said the same thing to Outcasts attacking Gamma and Corsair attacking Alpha. You want a fair fight?????? Talk to the other side before you start, that is the only way to make it totally fair. You didnt talk to them before you came to New Tokyo, you open yourself up to it.

I also take a bit of offense at your little LOLwuting Corsairs comment. It is comments like that which lead to a reduction of the amount of fairplay on the server. Why? Because you have just said that you see Corsair players as different then everyone else. But see heres the problem, it's that your wrong. The Corsairs have just as many LOLwuters as the Outcasts who have just as many as Liberty who have just as many as the Bounty Hunters. People need to stop trying to point to specific factions as the cause of all the ills on this server. All of us are responsible.

That being said, I have seen some fairly unfair tactics used by you in the past, so I think before you go throwing stones at other people, you should check to see if your windows are made of glass.

I think the most amazing part of the story is that 6 Kusari lawfuls were on at the same time. :P

Considering they're usually outnumbered, I can kind of see how they might overreact. Though I say once is bad luck, repeatedly is a problem.

Fair fight?
You're kidding, right?

It is entirely at the behest of the parties engaged in the fight if they wish to keep it "fair" or not. This in part depends on the mood of the people in the battle. When fighting as a lone blood dragon in New Tokyo, you should expect to get ganked, really. In a blood dragon bomber, you shouldn't expect anyone to joust you, either. If it becomes too much, run away. Is that really too much to ask?

For example, you catch my Eagle in, say, a gunboat of some description. I'll see your gunboat, and I'll fight you for a little bit. If you have missiles, I'll turn around straight away and retreat. There's no point in asking for fair play, since this is what happens in battle. One day, I'll get my backside handed to me. The next, we'll have a significant team of folks mowing down everything in our way.

Attack when the enemy is weak, retreat when they are strong. Since there are few borders that need defending in Sirius, apart from the obvious house borders, this shouldn't be a problem. This is how terrorists act even in the world we live in today; there's no need to be suicidal and charge into overwhelmings odds.

Learn to swallow your pride and prevent the enemy getting the kill. This might make you feel much better, when you deny a hoard of rampaging (in your case) KNF and KSP vessels from bringing you down. It certainly works for me, thrusting all the way to Alcatraz with about 6 LN on my tail. That was a while ago, though.

I agree with ktayn, 6 Kusari lawfuls online is the most incredible part of this story.:D

I don't know about other people, but I have definitely broken off fights before when the enemy is already outnumbered. The last time this happened was yesterday, when two kusari lawfuls were engaging a blood dragon in a red cat. I stood off nearby to take pictures, and said over system comms that I wasn't engaging. And then the red cat engaged me, I dodged for a few minutes, then decided to leave.

Yes, fair play does exist. But it exists within the confines of RP. If you try to attack liberty lawfuls near the zone 21 jump gate, are they really going to send in fighters one by one to duel you? No, they'll bring in two or three fighters, a gumboat, and maybe a cruiser. Unfair fight? yes, definitely. Good RP? Yes.

Yes, there is fairplay in Disco.
No, its not in Kusari.

You can get Redcat spam, Ku Cat spam, Ku Destroyer spam, or Traders logging on to BHG BC spams. Those are you're options in Kusari.

It saddens me reading this thread and seeing the continuous "I/We get ganked too, so oh well."

Nothing will change if we do unto others. Really disappointing.

Not from what I saw on the online list today.. The four different ones were all Ku Cats.

Large odds in a critical system arent really a problem for me - I would expect it if I were a hostile ship.

What is a problem is ships fighting and pursuing to the death.

If the odds are overwhelming, the group with the favourable odds should show some discipline and allow the other party to retreat with some semblance of dignity (minus most of the equipment blown off their ship of course).

Pursuing and ganking lone ships just to get a killshot just perpetuates the Cycle of Gank.

In terms of the KNF/KSP - they are entitled to use overwhelming force, but should show discipline and honour at all times, even against their most hated enemies.
