4.85 Economy Bug Reports - Agmen of Eladesor - 03-09-2009

The AVERAGE of this trade run is about 150 credits per second

Basic Alloy from Southampton Shipyard to Leeds - which doesn't pay much
Then Ship Hull panels back - which pays you triple.

However, with the hull panels taking 2 cargo spots, that helps alleviate things a bit - but it's still a VERY quick turnaround run.

Your numbers are too high by almost 50%, but this one should still be adjusted.

Silver only sells for 100 at Ouray. Just seems a little useless as that's one of the few things a Xeno can do. (Mining in the Silverton, that is.)

(Don't know where else to post this.)

Not much chance that is going to change, however the Xeno base in Hudson sits astride the silver route to the new terraforming project in Hudson, so I could give it a price of 450 there, with a guarantee of no ensuing bugs.

Ouray's silver stockpiles surely runneth over by now. Ole Grimy Glasses has even taken to tying his shoes with silver laces! Barrows needs to take on some of the overflow.

Yeah, understandable. But then again you have Junker bases buying scrap metal for a lot too. If Barrow gets a better price though, that would be good. Thanks.

Prisoners on Isehara Terraforming Outpost should cost about 1500 credits. (it costs ~1300 on Akita) The reason for that is that GMG use Prisoners on Planet Miura as labour force.

Synth Paste cost could be reduced a little on Fujisawa Mining Facility. Miners cant eat that much. (on the other hand it sells for a common price in ropponogi which is much closer)

Gaian Wildlife costs a lot in Okinawa and various planetform operations. While it makes some sense perhaps it would make more selling fancy pets to rich folk on capital planets. Definately not a bug, just worth considering.

H Fuel prices from Okinawa to Newcastle can bring up to 167 c/second. Fuel prices should be reduced in Bretonia overall.

Too many profitable routes end up in Gallia, number of them could be reduced to prevent repetetive trading.

Synth Paste prices bring fortune in Kusari and prison facilities only. A route to Bretonia from Stuttgart could be made. And as Vero put it:

[17:59:13] Vero says: What frustrates me most about the Synth Paste is that you cant even haul it to 95% of the bases because the price is the same as at Stuttgart
[17:59:54] Vero says: hard to RP a paste run to manhattan knowing I'll loose money doing so

[2009.03.09 21:00:15] Wrathkin says: Yeah, so we'll still have to haul lux food to make profit any other way. I like to try to get at least every other leg make sense, but I've not found that yet.

Wine from Bufallo to Sain Paul in Minnesota. Very short and pays 150 c/sec. I definately think its a bug.

Plutonium from Okinawa sort of lacks routes. It can be sold in Omicrons and Gallia which is not very good RP. It can also be sold in Bretonia, but GMG ships cannot enter there. It can also sold for humble amount in RHeinland, but then again GMG does not pass there either. Perhaps a route to Liberty would be in order.

Ogashawa pays too much for H Fuel.

Thats all I can think of at any rate. Will keep searching.

Doube post.

Tourists go from Hawaii Liner to Manhattan, not the other way around. Passengers may travel to large dense populated areas, but tourists and vacationiers (well vacationiers are short term, so maybe not) should travel to Luxury Liners from such places as Manhattan, London (to shetland) and so on. (I understand that Manhattan may have culture and what not, but it seems proper taking tourists to resorts) P.S. Shikoku is proud for its pretty clouds, perhaps toursits/vacatoniers could be taken there too.

not sure if this has been reported by Beryillium from Cardiff to Dortmund has been pretty much removed with no profit at all :s

4.85 Economy Bug Reports - Meiun - 03-10-2009

There's a quick triple run within Burgundy that I've found:

Blood Diamonds on Macon --> Nevers

Tobacco on Nevers --> Dijon

Holo-tainment Bands on Dijon --> Macon

rinse and repeat.

Not sure what the $$/sec is, but it sure seems profitable for a closed system run.

I would like to re-open my argument for slaves to be purchased in Kusari by Kabukicho Depot. After doing some research I have some good reasons for it:
  • Modern Yakuza which inspired some elements of the Hogosha deal in slavery. The hogosha may not have an industrial complex requiring slaves, but they do have massive influence in Kusari's underground nightlife, creating a need to supply prostitution rings and other such rackets.
  • Two of the 3 major slave buyers are enemies of the Corsairs and their allies and the other buyer is technically a lawful. If they raid a ship hauling slaves, they have no where friendly to drop them off.
    • If a Corsair raids a slaver it is most likely to take place in the sigmas, which makes Kabukicho the most convient base that won't un-balance other destinations that are also close to the Sigma's.
    • Rhineland pirates have a base that buys salves that realy has no use for them. Presumably that was done so that they had somewhere to take the cargo they liberate.
  • Plausible trade route:

LPI Sugarland (Slaves) -> Kabukicho (Optronics) -> Leeds (Water) -> LD-14 (MOX) -> Battleship Yukon (Prisoners) -> LPI Sugarland
