What anti virus software are you using?

I'm not using any.

Some firewalls do that, I had problems with damn near every free firewall I used. So I resorted to Windows Firewall...

Not using a firewall either.

:(

Oh, and the server is far from full too. :/

Take up World of Warcraft?

Okay - seriously now... Try to do a full restart, make sure UAC is offline, and that you're not getting anything else interfering. Depending on when you were trying to get onto the server - it's been rather interesting. Last night it was going down about every 10 minutes - or just long enough for me to get from one station to another - almost.

One other thought - can you get on one of the OTHER disco servers? USA or the test server? They're both up as well.

This will sound dumb, but how do I make sure UAC is offline?

have you turned off windows firewall?

And zonealarm is a free firewall which has always worked well for me.

I'm not using a firewall.

vista has one inbuilt, have you turned it off? In the security options.
