People, I have played Freelancer on and off from when it was first released. I have the CD. I am a computer literate 72 year old Granny.
I use cheats, and I mostly beetle around the universe, trading, sight-seeing and hanging around the bars. I love it, and have loaded and played various MODS over the years. I am trying to embark on the latest Discovery Storm adventure in single player
I am having the same issue as others with the save game feature. I have retained my fl files, but no matter what directory I put them in they are not seen when I Launch Game. The list of saved games is empty. There is not even the autosave showing.

Oh yeah, lost my Crossfire campaign saves (near the end) to this. Kind of stupid it doesn't auto backup or warn you before doing so.
